[She squeaks, quickly burying her face in her hands.]

[A sigh escaped his lips as she removed his shoes for him. He fell back on his bed and sighed, brushing his golden locks away from his face.]
What did father have you do today, Jojo?
Mmn...I see. ...It's some what comforting to see you do something you don't like because you feel it's your duty. I don't like rugby because it takes you away from me. But I enjoy watching you play.
[She takes a seat on the edge of his bed]
I spent today mending your other rugby uniform You had a few tears in it. Father says if I'm to be your wife I have to take care of these sorts of things for you.

[Dio took her hand and led her up to his quarters, stepping inside with her before plopping himself down on the mattress.]
Truthfully…I hate rugby.

[Dio had left his shoes on. ...Johanna carefully waddles over, slipping his shoes off of him and placing them outside of the door to be polished.]
Why do you still attend practice then, Dio?

D...Dio! Welcome home d-dear! If you're tired, we can r-retire now! I just...thought I would wait up for you...
He turned at the familiar voice. Jojo came back? He hadn’t expected her to return. He quickly emerged from the shadows and immediately noticed the bandage on her neck.
"…Jojo? What on earth happened to you?”
He couldn’t help but feel concern. This was the sibling that he had got a second chance from… And she was getting hurt? He had to fix that immediately.
His footsteps were surprisingly quiet. ...He startled her, causing her to let out a brief shriek.
"F....Forgive me. I said I wouldn't intrude...and here I am."
Johanna took a deep breath, hoping to soothe her churning stomach to no avail. Her hand crept up to her neck where it rested on the bandage. She was certain the bandage was unbecoming on a lady...somehow, being unladylike in front of Dio when she couldn't help it was humiliating.
"..The...Dio whom I live with. He's...become a vampire. He bit me...he seemed to show regret...and now he's...speaking of fixing the situation. ...However, I think he means to end his life. W-What can I do?! I do not believe he was joking!!"
I have been quiet. This is because...Dio has proposed! And I've said yes!
[Dio doesn’t notice her pass by as he sulks in his armchair.He couldn’t get her out of his mind.]
[Luckily, she manages to spot him.]
Good morning, dear.
[Johanna says quietly, creeping over to him and taking a seat across his lap.]
...You look tired.
I'm afraid losing a bit of blood was enough to make me sleep for quite a while...but I'm feeling much better.
She had told herself she wouldn't intrude. After all, they were on good terms. But she found herself wandering once again...right into the home of the Dio she had chosen as her sibling. With her neck freshly bandaged, she hurried inside. ...She could only pray that her poor Dio wouldn't do something irrational while she was gone. He seemed so certain that death was the only answer.
"Dio?!" Johanna called, her voice echoing in the eerily empty manor. ...There was something so strangely familiar about this place. It seemed to mirror her own home.
[He lifted his head back up after a few moments of musing.]
There is no solution. The only solution is to die. If this is anything like the myths say then there’s no salvation for me. Either I chose to embrace it and lose myself to the darkness or I spare you and find a way to end my life. I don’t know how well I’ll be able to control myself when the hunger arises again. Finding a way to make this work is out of the question. The only thing I need from you right now is forgiveness, so that I may die in peace.
...Die--
[She stirred, nearly falling as she crawled from the bed. Her fingers dug into his coat and she nearly knocked him down as she pounced on him. Johanna shook him, hoping to hold his attention.]
I'll never let that happen! I'll never let either of those things happen to you! I swear it! I'll find some sort of solution!
[Dio looked back at her in surprise before pulling his fist away from the wall. He fell to his knees before her and took her hand, grasping it tightly inbetween his palms.]
Jojo…I’m so sorry…I don’t know what’s going on. I suddenly had this lust for blood and I’ve grown canines that are unnaturally long. I didn’t do it to hurt you, I just couldn’t help it.
[The frustrated vampire buried his face into the sheets of the bed in shame.]

[Johanna gently pulled her hand from his grip. ...He felt cold...it was unsettling. As he buried his face into the sheets, Johanna gently placed her hands on the back of his head, trying to show a bit of affection without being too fool-hardy.]
...D...io...
[She whimpered, lightly shaking him.]
...We have to...figure out a solution...before anyone else is b...bitten...
...He bit my neck. Dio...is a vampire. ...And he bit me. ....I just thought he was trying to propose to me--- Ohhh...what am I supposed to do?

[He could see the fear and shock in her eyes and it actually hurt him. His heart was slowly broken as she tried to push herself away from him. Still he insisted on picking her up and carrying her to his bed, brushing her hair away from her face.]
Jojo…forgive me, I…I don’t know what came over me…the hunger was so strong…it made me act strangely…
[Dio gritted his teeth in frustration as a bit of blood spilled from the side of his mouth. The frustration he felt right now was stronger than he had ever felt before…stronger than when he began to develop feelings for the person he used to loathe the most. He genuinely cared about the way she she felt about him. He couldn’t deny it. And now he had hurt her…
Dio suddenly stood up and released his tension by driving his fist into the wall. It was hard enough to make his knuckles bleed and dent the wooden foundation of the wall.]
[She nearly screamed as he picked her up. But Johanna felt so dizzy she didn't dare open her mouth. As blood trickled from his lips, she felt her vision growing faint...until...bang. His fist hit the wall.]
...Stop it!
[Johanna cried, sitting up despite her weakness.]
...You'll...hurt yourself...
[She completely misunderstood. Dio couldn’t restrain himself any longer. He hissed and bared his fangs before sinking them deep into her. As her warm blood touched his tongue he immediately began to lap up and suck it from her. It was ecstasy…indescribably euphoric. Her blood was sweet and delicious…pure enough to be considered a drug. His hand pulled at the back of her head as he fed from liberally. He had to force himself to stop before she would be too weakened to keep herself standing. Dio came to his sense and pulled away from her neck with an agonizing. groan.]
Ah…nnn…Johanna…
[He immediately covered her wound tearing off the sleeve of his shirt and wrapping it around her neck as a bandage.]
Shit…Jojo, are you all right…?
[...Betrayal. That's what it felt like as he bit into her neck. How could she have expected something like this from him...? She knew how to fight him...but she couldn't even raise a finger...poor Johanna was in shock. ...How could this have happened to Dio?]
[She began to sink to the floor, her wide doe eyes filling with tears as they reflected the flickering candlelight from Dio's desk. ...With a weak movement, she pushed her hands against Dio, trying to get herself away from him.]
