From "Something Far More Interesting":
For the first time, she grins, and Danny can't help but tense at the cold cruelty in her expressionβnothing like his mother's warmth in her smiles.
"No, you are something far more interesting, aren't you?"
She opens her eyes to time, as wellβletting the blue power flow through her, stronger than ever, powered by the emotions sheβs unleashed. Before, she had refused to look beyond Dannyβs death; but now that Danny has chosen his own fate, she can see the timelines open to endless possibilities.

βHewwo! I've been in Phandom since 2014, and I love Phandom almost as much as I love math! I also love mixing the things I love in order to create something new and exciting! Like spreadsheets for events! And art made of Bezier curves! And phics that involve fractals! I'm excited to write and spreadsheet for this event!β
Zine Experience: βI have written and made music for a few zines, and I have modded a few events, but I've never modded for a zine before! I'm very excited for the Phantom Core zine to be my first time modding one!β
Favorite thing about Danny Phantom? βI love that Danny is a mess of contradictions. He's a selfish kid, but he cares deeplyβenough to put the world on his shoulders to set things right. He's a superhero. He's a creature of the night. He just saved a bus full of kids from careening into a quarry. He has homework due today and he hasn't done it. He can fly a spaceship. His grades are in the toilet. He doesn't care that his ghostly enemies know his secret identity. He fears the day his parents find out. He loves his parents. He thinks they want to dissect him. He's alive. He is a dead thing to be dissected rather than vivisected. He's just as messy and contradictory as any other human on the planet. He's alive. He's a ghost. He's just a kidβand the problems he deals with are on a larger scale than the problems most adults face.β
Favorite character and why? βI adore Jazz. She is determined to be grown up, and she has determined that the people around her are not grown up enough to count, so she has to do things herself. She wants to be a badass psychologist who can hold her own, and she's well on her way to that goal! She's a smart nerdy kid who can kick butt and take names! And yet, she knows when to back off when it's important, and when to act when it's important. She gives Danny the space he needs to reveal his big secret when he's ready. She sends Danny her message using the tech that most reliably finds Danny no matter what. I love seeing her interact with Dan, and I love seeing her go toe to toe with Spectra. More than anything, I love seeing her be Danny's big sister.
Is it Vivisecc or Dissecc? And why? βDissecc! It's the dehumanization, the de-personification, inherent in the word: not only is Danny not a human, he isn't even alive. He doesn't get to be respected as a living thing. Dead things don't feel. Dead things don't experience pain. Dead things don't react to being cut open. Danny is a dead thingβhis parents say so, and he uses their language for himself ("Probably looking for me... or a scalpel to dissect me with"). What does that mean for how he thinks of himself? Of his ghost half and his ghostliness?β
