It has been a while since I've watched or read DN Angel so I apologize if he is a bit OOC at times.
"I guess so….but that is if you only have two wings, right?" she questioned in a serious tone, looking anywhere but his eyes. From everything she has learned, angels only had two wings. That what seemed to be with every angel, at least the normal ones. But then again, she didn’t know a lot of angels, so she wouldn’t know what was normal in the angelic world.
"Maybe we should go some place, where no one can see our wings…or at least my wings..".
Dark blinked, his gaze almost curious now as he looked her over. "Well.... I suppose in any situation it would be the same in theory... you telling me you don't have just two wings..?" He commented almost curiously before nodding, his slight grin of mischief returning.
"Yes, it would be best if we went somewhere more private indeed my lady~ Do you have a place in mind or would you like me to pick..?"
[ღ] — … "I’ll call you Dark then." It wasn’t because she lacked time or patience; instead, it was because Dark was simple and easier to say than Phantom Thief. “I’m Donna,” she added. “You can call me Dee or DJ if you want though; I don’t mind.”
"Donna... what an absolutely stunning name, perfect choice too for someone as stunning as you are." His voice seemed to be filled yet again with those flirty words. Really... Dark was rather proud of himself at times.
Darcy turned her gaze back toward Dark as he spoke. “You honestly don’t know about the whole levels of angels?….huh…I thought every angel would know that. But I did do some research but I could be wrong”. She crossed her arms slightly across her chest, as she was feeling a little cold. “As for if I can fly, I tried to once. Didn’t end well, so I don’t know how and plus my wings are different from yours…” she admitted, keeping her gaze upon him.
Dark just gazed over at her. "... Well I'm not exactly like other angels. Maybe another angel would know more about it.." That was all he really said on that matter. He hummed as his eyes took over her form for a moment, however this time he seemed to be a bit more serious. "Different? How so..? Besides... flying should be the same no matter the shape in wings.. though it is a little tricky to get the hang of at first."

Eheh.. so now I've kind of been a bit of a naughty phantom thief and haven't been on in way longer then I intended... my apologies to any and all who are actually still following me at this point. I wouldn't even blame those that I was originally roleplaying with if they didn't want to continue. I've responded but if you're kind of.. done because of my absence hey feel free to ignore it. For that reason I'm not going to think up questions, I'm not going to tag others.. but I'm going to at least answer the questions kind of.. asked of me in a way. So here we go!
1. If you could be the main character in any video game, movie, book, etc., who would you be?
Bit of a tough one there honestly. There are so many rather cool characters in all the video games, movies, books and all that that I've seen. Uhm... To be honest I'd probably have to go with either Cardfight Vanguard with Aichi Sendou as the main character, one of the Video Games of Pokemon or maybe MAYBE one of the Yugiohs... though it's hard to say yes I'd definitely want to be a main character or whatever in any of these situations because while they have their moments of just.. pure awesome through watching or playing I've also seen a lot of the heartache and that that they've had to go through to experience those good times... I think I'd much rather be in the world as myself instead of taking over a character's life so that I could, in a way, meet those characters myself and not have to live up to anyone's legacy.
2. Who or what picks you up when you’re in a bad mood?
Isn't this a Tumblrbot question? Sorry had to say it. Anyway uhm. Lots of things can do it. It really usually depends on how bad of a mood it is and what's causing it really. Sometimes all I need to do is separate myself from the situation for a little bit.. maybe listen to some music or play a game.. that kind of thing. Other times however I have to just... finally let myself either rage or cry or whatever and just completely get it out of my system. Those times are the hardest though because I know I worry people so badly when I have to do that.
3. How quickly do you get angry?
Honestly not very quickly at all. It's hard to make me really angry.. or at least enough that it actually shows. I far more easily will get annoyed or irked by a situation then I will get angry with it. When I do get angry enough to show it though is when you know you need to give me some space to calm down or you really won't like the consequences..
4. How long does it take for you to calm down?
Usually depends on how angry I get and whether people keep pushing or not. Though I think on average with how it kind of.. builds up for me maybe about 30 minutes to an hour? That's minimum at times though sadly again depending on how angry I am and if people kept pushing my buttons after I was angry.
5. Who do you look up (can be a real person or not)?
Lots of people honestly. My Mom for one because of honestly how strong she is at times, and a lot of my friends though I'm not going to name certain real life people because I don't want anyone saying 'Well why didn't you say me? You don't look up to me but you look up to them?' yeah no thanks. Also most times if I end up roleplaying as a character or muse it's because I either relate to them at least a bit or look up/ admire them in some way shape or form.
6. If you had to categorize yourself (as a person or roleplayer), what categories would you fall in to?
Oh geeze.. I really wouldn't know honestly. If I had to I suppose I'd categorize myself as... well.... to put it simply I guess a Teddy Bear...? To explain kind of... like a Teddy Bear I'm there for you when you're in need of comfort, when you need a hug I'm there to give you one, I'll try my best to make you smile all the time no matter how rough I get or how long ago it was you really spoke to me last. If you're hurting I'll try and be there for you... however once I break you can stitch me up but I won't ever be exactly the same again. Actually... that sums it up pretty well.. to think I've been called a Teddy Bear before but never really thought about it that way... huh.
7. Your favorite TV or radio station?
I really don't watch much TV or listen to Radio so I don't know what would be considered my favourite anymore
8. Music genre?
Again don't really listen to a huge amount of Music... or at least not enough to say a definite 'yeah that's my favourite' I like a lot of songs from a lot of different genres and I'm pretty sure at least each genre has at least one song that I like.
9. Out of all of your roleplay muses, which one do you feel you can relate to the most? If you only have one, how well do you relate to them?
Well honestly? I think I'd have to say that of all of them I relate to either Aichi or Kai the most at times. Aichi has been my faceclaim for the longest time and Kai has been my nickname. Aichi is from Cardfight Vanguard and there's an icon of him above. He's this.. shy little boy that doesn't have much confidence at all in himself, doesn't really have many friends or anything.. however once he finally finds something he enjoys he gains friends relating to that, managing to get more confident in himself slowly but surely even with the fact that he's a bit shy and it especially shows whenever he's not in the middle of a Vanguard fight. Then there's Kai from Beyblade. He's been on more teams in Beyblade then any other character Often times people think he seems rather cold and that he doesn't care about anyone or anything other then himself. He does whatever he feels is necessary to get what he wants or what he needs and he doesn't seem to care who gets in his way. However.. once you dig a little deeper, get to know him better you realize that the cold, mean appearance and way that he has is mostly just a mask. He's actually really kind with a lot of people's best intentions in mind, he just doesn't know how to show it at all because of how he was raised. He was raised for the longest time that showing weakness and being weak were the worst things imaginable so he hides his true feelings behind a mask. While I wasn't raised that way I find myself often times hiding behind a mask if I'm feeling upset or angry, not wanting to worry those I care for, especially if they're upset at the same time.
10. How much confidence do you have in yourself and in your abilities?
Ahh.... That would really REALLY depend on what exactly you're asking about ability wise. Some things I will admit I don't have much confidence in at times... other things I'm really confident in. For example when it comes to video games and Yugioh dueling, that sort of thing I'm fairly confident in myself. Other things like drawing however I sometimes... lack.. this same confidence.
11. What’s something you like doing despite what other people say?
Uhh... That would probably be writing, reading and all that type of thing with Yaoi, straight, romance or not romance, that sort of thing. I have gotten people that ask me why I am doing things like that and they almost seem concerned on my behalf and that type of thing so.. you know. I just have to kind of... let it roll off my back.
There was no hiding the playful smirk atop the brunette’s lips now. Oh, she was going to enjoy this. “What’s your name, Mr. Phantom Thief?” She said, leaning back on her heels, grey-blue orbs focused on the winged man in front of her. “Or, are you not able to tell me?”
"Get right to the point now don't ya?" He chuckled as his eyes seemed to hold that amused twinkle. "Friends, enemies... secret admirers... everyone calls me Phantom Thief Dark... or just Dark for short if you're lacking time or patience."
"Uh huh" she mumbled as he stated that his story, would be a huge headache for him to get into. She would question him more about that another time, and about why he steals artwork.
He’s a huge flirt isn’t he?….but its nice to hear something call me beautiful…
Darcy smiled politely toward him, “Its nice to know that you always keep your word” she commented. Darcy, herself always tries to keep her promises, no matter how long it while take her to get the promise done. She turned her gaze towards him, as he asked his question. “Well…everything there is to learn about being an angel. Every skill an angel has…whatever you can teach me. I don’t know much about angels, apart from what I’ve read online. But I don’t even know what skills I have or if I am even an angel like you. As you…have only two wings. I heard there are different levels of angels, but I don’t know if that is a true fact but I do believe it.” she answered thoughtfully.
She looked toward the night sky for a moment, lost in her thoughts with her eyes staring off longingly. “Maybe the along the way…I can find out what I am….and why i am what I am.”
Dark just gazed at her in silence for a bit, not sure quite what to say to that before he hummed, his eyes sparkling a bit. "Well little lady, I can't be sure that you're exactly an angel like me... and to be honest I have no idea about the whole 'levels of angels' thing.. but maybe that's because I've always been a bit of a Dark Horse.." He gazed up at the sky again with her.
"Though I suppose first question I have for you is... do you know how to fly..?" He honestly gave a small smirk as he asked it, after all it could be taken as an offending question.. or it could be taken for what it was just being an honest question. How would she take it though... now that was the question at hand.
;; Again with that teasing tone? The brunette merely shook her head, holding back a scowl. “I’m aware,” she said, “and because of that, I don’t exactly trust people very well.” Being hurt plenty of times in the past for that sole reason, the teen very seldom placed her trust in someone she had just met, regardless of how friendly they seemed. “If you want my trust, you’ll have to earn it.”
"Now that sounds like a challenge worthy of the attention of the Phantom Thief~" He seemed to be laying it on perhaps a little thick, but really it did sound like something that was worth his trouble in the end. "I shall work towards that goal for the moment~"
The brunette blushed slightly embarrassed as he pointed it out, she smiled sheepishly. “Yeah, that is properly something I should have asked first, but guess I just got excited to finally meet another angel” she replied.
She kept her gaze lock on him as she waited for him to answer, regardless of his answer, if he was a fallen angel he could end up lying to her. But if he was a fallen angel, wouldn’t he have hurt her by now? or maybe he wants to use her for something. She had no real true information on fallen angels, apart from what research she could remember, and the fallen angels that she read in her books.
Not all the good angels in my books had dark wings….and not all fallen angels are bad?….are they?…
But she kept quiet as Dark began to speak, she listened to his every word. As he continued to speak, she felt as if his words were true, that he was being sincere about it. She looked at him curiously as he spoke of an white wings angel, that was trying to catch him. Her brows frown slightly, “why is that angel trying to catch you?….and that angel would try to catch you even if it meant someone innocent got hurt?…that’s awful”.
Her eyes widen slightly as his mischievous grin took her off guard, but as he finished speaking she folded her arms, crossing them. She looked at him slightly skeptically, as she began to ponder to herself for a few moments, wondering whether to believe him or not. She took a deep breath in and out before her gaze locked at him.
"I’ve decided to believe you, for now at least. You don’t seem that bad, but that could be all an act. But you seemed like your actually speaking the truth and its not like I’m going to run into any other angels for a while and I really need help" she replied. Her expression soften, "so if I haven’t offended you to badly, will you still help me?" she questioned.
Dark's eyes seemed to almost twinkle in amusement at her question. "Well... that one I will admit is my fault at least in part... It's... I guess you could say kind of his mission just like it's my mission to steal certain pieces of art... but that's just a very complicated in general story that would be a headache to get into as of this moment~"
His wings stretched a bit when she said that she'd decided to believe him, that grin still playing on his lips. So she was one to give the benefit of the doubt it seemed? Interesting~
"Young lady.... it is a rather difficult thing for others to offend me... especially a lady as beautiful as you are. Besides... whether you'd offended me or not I gave you my word that I would teach you what I could didn't I? I never go back on my word... I do have a reputation to keep after all~" He hummed as he gazed to the sky again. "Though... I suppose the question now is... what exactly is it that you wish to learn?"
;; This conversation wasn’t going over so well in her head as there was a possibility of her religion being brought into play; that was something she wanted to avoid at all costs. “I understand what you’re saying,” she said, hoping to change the subject, “but I don’t really care about that.” There was a brief pause as the brunette crossed her arms over her chest. “As long as someone is kind to me, and respects me, I couldn’t care less if they were an angel, a demon, or whatever.” She wasn’t one to judge; at least, she didn’t try to.
"Well! Now aren't you the mature one!" He couldn't help the small bit of teasing there at her reaction. He could tell by the look on her face that he seemed to have been moving in on dangerous territory, and he was never one to actually push something like that. Everyone had their secrets and that sort of thing after all. "Really in the end that is the best way to go about it now isn't it? Just be careful though sweetheart~ There are those out there that will put on quite the act, pretending to be kind just to stab you in the back. I wouldn't want such a beautiful lady as yourself to get hurt."
She blushed and was slightly taken by as he placed his hand on her cheek. She blinked several times, her gaze locked on him. A smile began to grow upon her lips, her expression lit up. “R-really?!, you will teach me?. Thank you!” she said gratefully, she felt such relief that he agreed. Finally she had someone to teach her what they knew, she didn’t know if he had all the answers, but he would have to do.
"My name is Darcy by the way" she said, as she remembered she hasn’t introduced herself. She shook his free hand and shook it, smiling towards him. "Can’t tell ya, how relieved I am to finally have someone to talk to about this. By the way…..no offence but.." she said as she took her hand away from his and took one step away. "Your not a fallen angel are you?…..its just I’ve heard fallen angels or some bad angels have dark wings.." she questioned, with a apologetic look, she knew it was rude to say after he agreed to help her.
The black winged angel blinked at that before he chuckled, shaking his head a bit. This girl really was something else wasn't she...? He placed both his hands on his hips then, raising an eyebrow as he gazed at her. "Isn't that something that should have been asked first there My lady..?" Sure he knew her name but something it just got a better reaction to call them that.
He glanced up at the night sky again, almost lost in his own thoughts before he spoke again. "... I suppose it's more of a stereotype about the whole... good angels have white wings and bad angels have dark wings. Though... I don't blame anyone for that stereotype... a lot of angels with black wings don't exactly leave a good reputation for themselves.... and white wings do have that look of purity."
His gaze never left the stars as he spoke, as if he was looking back into the past to answer her question. "Each angel is different. I'd.. highly suggest you don't judge based on wing color. Feel free to be a bit more cautious if you see a certain wing color sure but... do know this, as an example. Me? I would never purposely cause harm to anyone if I could help it.... however... I do have an angel with white wings after me that would do anything to capture me.. even if it meant someone innocent getting hurt..."
Afterwards he looked down at her again with a mischievous grin. "Of course... if all the stories about me and angels with black wings in general are true... I'm more then likely lying to you now aren't I? So really.... it's your choice what you believe~"
Darcy looked at him with searching eyes, as she waited for his answer. She wondered if he really did have the ability to fly, and if so then maybe he was like her. Maybe this was a sign that he was meant to help her, even if he is a thief. She brought one of her hands to her chest, gripping her shirt slightly with hope. Her eyes shine under the moon light, as her gaze was locked and focused on him.
Her expression a soft but serious one. She raise her brows slightly as he began to speak, she simply nodded lightly as she confirmed she really didn’t know of him. “So you can-” she began but stopped as she saw his wings stretch out behind him. Her eyes widen in awe and shock, she was shunned. Her jaw dropped slightly before it, turned into a delighted, happy smile. She was silent for a moment as she processed what she is seeing, admiring his wings.
"You…..Y-your an Angel…" she mumbled, staring at him. She blushed slightly at the sight of him and that he almost seemed, to have purred the words toward her. She noted that his wings were black, and that yet again he was a thief.
Is he an fallen angel?….a bad one?……can he be trusted?…should I run?….
As she pondered over this, her expression washed over with mix feelings. Even though she knew she should be careful, and that his friendly and flirty show could all be a trick, some act. He was her only lead. She took a step towards him, closing a little of the space between them. “Your like me!…your an actually angel!. This has to be a sign….but maybe it isn’t. But I have to chance it!” she exclaimed, absentmindedly.
"Please teach me!, be my teacher!. Tell me everything you know!, teach me to fly!….just help me reach and understand my angelic side.." she begged with pleading eyes, looking at him intently. As a wind blew through out her hair, as her hair flowed and swayed as the wind went by.
Dark watched the emotions changing on her face in amusement. It had to be one of the most entertaining times he'd ever revealed his wings to someone. He almost wished he had a camera or something to catch some of the emotions that seemed to flicker across her face like that.
However what really caught him off guard was what she said about being like her. She definitely seemed to like to talk to herself though didn't she..?
After another little conversation with herself however she almost seemed to jump him, causing a slightly surprised expression to flicker across Dark's own face. She wanted him to teach her? Help her understand her angelic side...? His eyebrow raised a bit before he chuckled a bit. "Well I have to admit that is one of the oddest requests I've ever gotten but..." The angel paused for just a moment as he placed a hand on her cheek, a small glimmer in his eyes. "I can't say no to a request from a lady~ Don't know how much I can teach you.. but you have my word that I will teach you what I can." While he did promise to teach her what he could, he didn't promise to teach her everything. He wouldn't make a promise like that... after all it was a rather big thing to say.. and one could never know for sure what exactly she'd want to learn. There were just some things he couldn't teach her..
Darcy with her arms crossed, arched her brow slightly as he spoke. She kept quite as he talked but when he spoke of flying, her expression turned into one of interest. “W-wait…did you just say?..you can fly?” she questioned. Her full attention on him now. “You can fly?” she asked again, with a small hope raising within her.
I don’t really know him….but he has been polite and friendly so far…I should still be careful but maybe he could help me?..
He blinked at her sudden interesting, raising an eyebrow. He'd been about to ask if she was serious when he remembered yet again that she didn't know of him. She hadn't heard the rumors apparently before he a small chuckle forced it's way from his throat with no chance of stopping it.
"My my... you really haven't heard of me or you would have definitely known about that one." He commented in amusement before he shrugged. "It's really simple after all...." As he said that his wings stretched out behind him, his eyes twinkling in amusement. "Simply... I guess you could say I'm a bit of an angel as well as a thief~" He practically purred that one. "Why... want me to take you flying? We could call it a date~"
;; “But, I thought an angel’s wings were white?” The idea confused to teen greatly. Weren’t angels suppose to be messengers of God and be all holy and pure? “The only angels I’ve heard of to have black wings are fallens or demons…”
"Well I do suppose that is the normal thing that people often think." He stated with a shrug. "Just remember... not all angels with white wings are pure creatures just wanting to be your friends~ In fact I... personally know an angel with wings white as the snow that doesn't care about anything other then capturing me... and he doesn't even care who gets in the way so long as he accomplishes it. Rather silly if you ask me." His wings fluttered automatically in the breeze for a moment as he thought about it. "I suppose.. you could think of angels like.. birds. While it's normal for say a crow to be almost pure black there is the chance of having a crow with pure white wings~ Angels are kind of the same I guess. Most people just tend to lean toward trusting the ones with white wings because of that.. image they have of being god's pure creatures."
Darcy brushed a loose strand of her hair, behind her ear, as she kept her gaze was glued to him. “Your welcome” she replied politely, with a soft smile.
"That would be correct, I’m not from around here. Is it that much of surprise I don’t know of you?…You famous around here?" she questioned, as she tilted her head slightly at the boy.
Is he that well known here?…or just everybody knows of everyone here?..
At his statement, introducing himself. She gently took her hand back away from him and cross her arms loosely. Darcy had a soft expression upon her face, hearing this. She blinked at him, as he seemed very proud of himself to be a thief…
"So…your name is Dark? and your a phantom thief?..you steal from people, taking whatever you want?" she questioned, with a disapproving look.
I’ve should have known……he’s a thief…..he seemed so nice and friendly but he steals…..he not going to try and steal something from me is he?!…not that i have anything on me right now to steal…apart from…but no way in hell he could possibly know about that….
Dark both saw and felt her pull away and just barely kept himself from showing his slight displeasure. Seemed she was one of those that was really against that kind of thing... or perhaps she was just scared. Both those reactions were very similar at times and he supposed they were warranted.
"Yes, that's all correct." He stated before he chuckled. "Though I can promise you.. I don't plan to steal from you. I just came out to enjoy the night air. It's not something I normally get to do, soaring through the sky and feeling the wind as it pushes through my hair like fingers combing through it." Perhaps he was getting a little sidetracked, but honestly he tended to get side tracked when he thought or spoke of flying. It was a joy that he had, something that just made him feel very free to do whatever he pleased.
Darcy kept her gaze upon the boy, she blush furthered as she saw his grin that spread across his features. She arch her brow slightly, curious of this guy. She began to wonder if she should run away or not, but then she heard him and saw him approached her.
She blinked as he winked at her, she felt her cheeks burn up as he took her hand gently in his. She couldn’t believe someone as good looking as he was, was actually paying any attention to her.
Or he could be looking for what he thinks is a “easy target”….or he could actually be a nice guy…or a player…
She glanced down at his hand that was now in his and back to him, she was puzzled on what she should do. She didn’t want to be impolite, but she doesn’t know the guy and she wondered if she take her hand back. But that familiar aura, that familiar feeling from before, became stronger as he took her hand.
He thinks I’m beautiful?……and this feeling?……its coming from him?..
"I could think of a few" she remarked without meaning to, a comment that slipped out of her lips without meaning to. She cleared her throat, feeling slightly embarrassed by her remark. "Thank you for the compliments" she replied, it was the only thing she could think to say, even if it was slightly awkward thing to say when someone was saying such nice things. "Your quite good looking yourself" she said, figuring she should at least say something nice back.
She saw him glance up to the sky night, she followed his gaze and looked up, to admire the beautiful sky. At his next compliment, she looked back toward him, as a slight shy expression came upon her face. It made her feel quite happy that he noticed her eyes, it was one of the features of herself that she actually liked. People have said before she has pretty or shiny eyes, it always made her feel a little happy when she heard that. “Really?” she said quietly.
He a bit of a huge flirt isn’t he….He seems sweet enough….and friendly enough…..or he could just be hoping to get lucky…..which isn’t going to happen…..still this is quite nice for someone to notice me…
Even though she was slightly weary of this guy, something about him, was drawing her towards him. She couldn’t put her finger on it, but there was something very different about him…
"What is your name?" she questioned, she wanted to at least know the guy’s name. When he was basically hitting on her, which was very new to her.
The angel's eyes seemed to almost sparkle at her comments. She seemed very easily flustered and he rather enjoyed it when a young lady got flustered like that. At her comment of him being good looking he couldn't help the small grin. "Why thank you young lady~"
When she asked him his name he actually blinked a moment. "Well I'll be... someone around here that doesn't know of me? You're not from around here then I'm guessing?" Most if not everyone around here at least knew of him after all.
He stood proud then as he introduced himself. "Dear lady.... I am the Phantom Thief Dark~ There isn't a single thing that I can't steal from anyone that I desire." Well, it wasn't quite right as it would seem, but no-one needed to know that. It wouldn't look as nice for his reputation.
The Brunette came to a halt in her tracks, as she heard smooth voice talk. She glanced over her shoulder, as her eyes landed on a man with long locks of purple hair. She blinked at his comment, as a light blush came a upon her cheeks. She quickly glanced behind her and around her, to make sure she was mistaking his comment for someone else. But it was only those two in the current area. She brushed a loose strand of hair behind her ear, and looked back toward the man.
She was feeling slightly weary of this man, as she knew she had to be careful on the streets at night of awful men. She offered the man a polite shy smile, as she wasn’t used to any men making such comments or flirting with her. “Thank you” she mumbled in reply, as she looked this boy over. It was then she began to feel that faint familiar aura she felt before, she looked at the boy curiously.
Dark couldn't help the grin that spread across his features. Well! This should be fun! It was obvious that she wasn't used to receiving compliments even with how pretty she obviously was. Though, in his mind all women were beautiful creatures.
It was obvious to him however that the feeling had only grown stronger the moment he spoke to her, and from the look on her face it seemed like she almost felt it too. Interesting. "But of course I'm speaking to you." He said playfully, a small wink as he walked forward to take her hand gently in his.
"A beautiful young lady such as yourself? Who else could I be talking to on such a normally boring night?" Well, it wouldn't have been boring for him as he always had enjoyed the blackness of the night sky, but she didn't need to know that. He glanced up at one of the stars, still holding her hand. "Why... the very look in your eyes twinkles like the stars above, and those are very gorgeous on their own wouldn't you say?"
He couldn't shake the feeling that there was something about her drawing him to her though... how odd.
