Slugterra Theory : Eli and Tadd
I have a theory about Tadd and Eli. I've always wondered, how is it possible that Tadd comes from the surface when Blakk isn't even aware of his existence? And that's why I think Eli and Tadd are half-brothers and share the same mother.
We know that Eli has been living with his uncle since he was little and has almost never known his mother. If she is not from Slugterra, she knew Will well enough for him to reveal the secret to her. Once she had Eli, she probably wanted to see what was happening in the depths. At the same time, who wouldn't want to go there after hearing about it? Will and she must have argued until they separated, and she left Eli to go down to Slugterra, probably because she didn't want to put him in danger. That's why his father never told him about her; for him, he is his only parent, given that she abandoned him.
After going down to Slugterra, she probably met Professor Blakk, who at the time was just a chemist. She fell in love with him, and together they had Tadd. So, I think Tadd spent part of his childhood in Slugterra (3-4 years), but he doesn't remember it. But seeing that Blakk started using increasingly dangerous products, she got scared for herself and her son and fled Slugterra, so that Tadd wouldn't grow up with Blakk's values. This explains why Tadd only goes down to Slugterra at the age of 15, doesn't know much about it, and wants to meet his father without really knowing the harm he has done. He is not actually aware of the power of ghouls and the destruction they can cause, as his mother only talked to him about Slugterra and the Blakk she knew, very different from what he has become.
