—-though the concept of holding a casual conversation with this very man seems a bit strange, he finds himself willing to keep up the common courtesies. there is something in the man’s eyes, a caring look, concern, and it makes him feel indifferent about it, not being overall familiar with such attitude from a (kind of) father figure. “I am doing well.” he responds with a faint nod of hid head. “how about you, Your Grace?” thinking that to keep to pleasantries was, perhaps, most desirable.

She meant to sent it to you, but did not manage to.” he adds, now having left the envelope in the Duke’s hand entirely, himself having no idea what it could contain for his curiousity ceased taking the best of him as soon as he stopped being a boy.

sat by the warmth of the fireplace, Arianne had found a good place to read her book in silence. that is until some showed up. “do you mind lowering the volume?” she spoke in a slow, casual manner. the Queen sets the book she is reading on her lap gives the intruder a look.
“i.. apologise, have i disturbed you?;” the man said in a low manner, gazing at his friend; “do you mind me, shall i leave?” he said in a casual manner of voice;”
Her expression shifts when she sees him, a frown creases her forehead and she approaches him, placing her hand on his own. “—my love, what is the matter?”
“i— am good my love, i am good;” he smiled slightly yet a sad expression on his face;
“Philip, do not act like a child, speak to me…please” Her voice filled with sadness she had come to cort to make amends
Philip ignored her and simply didn’t bother to spare another glance to her;
“I have met the girl and already then she came with outrageous suggestions for what we could do for entertainment. For her to have ventured out of the castle would not surprise me. Though she is a kind girl, I am not suggesting otherwise.”
“Congratulations, It is not your job to talk after her, do inform her yourself of your thoughts;” he glanced at her; “Have a good day;” he said and took his leave;

Philip shook his head up and offered an awful glance at her, sighed sarcastically as he rolled his eyes, he start walking away from her, nodding to his guards, not to let her walk after him;
Amanda glared at him before a smirk slowly formed on her lips. “Then allow me to guess. It was from your dukedom, so the person must be of high title. Also a woman.” She listed off, trying to think of anyone that could possibly not care enough as to remain within the castle walls. Her facial expression immediately turned to dread as she thought of a girl who might not care enough to stay or simply leave to defy orders. “Please do not tell me Victoria was foolish enough to leave the castle and become ill.”
“She is from my dukedom, and at my age, a friend who was always there for me when needed; I cannot understand where you thought of Princess Victoria; thus she is not sick, or a close friend of mine;”
“And I do not care for whether it is appreciated or not. When I asked I expected a name. I still do.”
“You will take no name from me spoiled Princess, you have no authority to demand anything from me.”
“And how can you be certain of that?” She questioned with a raised brow. “Tell me. Whom is it you are speaking of? Is it one whom has been hit by the plague?”
“Curiosity young Princess is not appreciated, the woman I speak of comes from my dukedom, which I know her since we were both children;”
“Who cannot die?” Amanda asked, the curiosity getting the best of her.
