The party is well underway at the Bailey Moon villa. The swim team has yet another victory to celebrate, and of course Abbie is hosting the party; a tradition among the Bailey Moon siblings. The cheers are swaying to the music, while Elli and Erica escaped to their own little bubble in the kitchen.
It’s the kind of party where everyone invites everyone else, to the point that even Isaac and Léonie are there, even though they couldn’t care less about the team’s victories.
As for the swim team itself? They gave up long ago, buzzing from their own victory.
Now we're getting to the tricky part - we're past the island villagers that I have a clear mental image for. I thought for sure I had longer stripy socks and a stripy shirt + jacket combo in my cc stash but these were the best I could pull out.
When they arrive at her house, Ada hesitates before getting out. She turns to say something, but before she can finish her sentence, Easton stops her and leans in. She kisses him back without thinking.
Not a courtroom, but we're waiting for a verdict now?

[The Medina Home; Tartosa, Italy]
[Before anything, Dulce made her family promise they would listen without interrupting. It was necessary.]
[Antonio took a deep breath. He wouldn’t treat this like a courtroom. He had to explain himself. Not defend.]
ANTONIO: We’ve gathered everyone here because you deserve the truth about who I am and where I come from.
[Antonio started with the hard facts – His grandfather, Alfonso Alto, and the organized crime group he built with the Romeros after the resort collapsed about thirty years ago.]
[He admitted how, from childhood, he was purposely steered toward law so the cartel would have more influence inside the system. That was his assigned role whether he liked it or not.]
[When Alfonso was incarcerated, Antonio gained some independence, but the expectations remained the same. His dysfunctional family, a corrupt system, and fear of the unknown made escape unimaginable.]
[Then, his paralegal innocently mentioned a potential client. A name he knew all too well from Alfonso’s tirades.]
ANTONIO: Taking the defamation case was the least I could do. Even though I didn’t participate in my grandfather’s misdeeds, I had been far too passive.
ANTONIO: My intention was to win and go on with my life, like with any other client.
ANTONIO: I was a fool for thinking that.
ANTONIO: The more I suppressed my feelings, the more the universe pushed us together. And well, I gave in. I wanted to be around her.
ANTONIO: She was a song I couldn’t get out of my head.
[He described how his outlook on life slowly changed, forcing him to reevaluate everything. His priorities shifted.]
[He had to make things right. Even if it cost him his life. Even if it meant losing his family. Even if it required enormous risks. Even if Dulce never forgave him.]
[He recalled how fortunate he was that everything came together in the end, and that Dulce kept giving him chances. Her bright warm eyes still lit up for him, time after time.]
ANTONIO: My family was broken from the start, but that doesn’t mean I don’t understand the importance of family. What Dulce has here is special. I don’t want to disrupt that.
So, I’d like to stay in her life, but only if you allow it.
DULCE: It took me longer than it should’ve to realize Antonio is the one for me. He’s incredibly thoughtful, practical but never close-minded, self-driven, and has the cutest laugh. We truly understand each other.
ANTONIO: That’s everything.. Thank you for listening.
ANGEL: What do you love about my sister?
[He blurted the question so quickly, it sounded like one word.]
ANTONIO: Everything. Her passion, creativity, kindness – her optimism. It’s not the fake kind. She can get annoyed at little things, like I do, but she handles everything better. She inspires me to be better-
NOEMI: I’ve heard enough. You two go outside and close the door behind you. I need a word with everyone here.
