Nate nodded as she spoke about being in between locations, catching himself from being any more blatant about checking her out and tuning back into the conversation. “Oh, that’s cool. Cool. Sucks that you have to commute, I guess,” he offered lamely. He knew things would be weird between them when they finally starting talking again, but he hadn’t anticipated this kind of awkwardness and tension. “I joined a couple weeks ago. I come at night sometimes,” he shrugged, finding it odd that he hadn’t seen Phoebe here even once until now. But apparently his luck for avoiding the situation had run out.

Understandingly Phoebe nodded. They hadn't seen each other likely because she worked mainly mornings and afternoons. Nights were reserved for time with Chase or bar hopping with her girlfriends. When he playfully accused her of trying to recruit him for her yoga class a wide, genuine smile appeared. Some of the tension visibly leaving the air. "Ah, you caught me." She teased back, throwing her hand up in defensive. "No, no. Yoga doesn't strike me as your kind of thing. Although, it's a good way to relieve stress and helps you sleep better at night, I won't try to sell you on it." She dropped her hands down to her hips. Very aware of the fact that she was still kind of checking him out. Glancing instead at his gym attire, she found that didn't help very much. "I'm glad you like it here, though. This gym is really great. The people are pretty awesome. Especially the trainers. And no I'm not just paid to say that." She laughed softly.
