I love how triggered John's trauma is when it comes to intimate partner violence - he gets very protective over kids, but as soon as it's IPV, he just flips his lid

And it's so fun how Finch tries to protect him from it and how fucking like. Lowkey scared he is of John when he's Like That

Finch normally has such a comfortable hold on John's leash and John's normally very happy about that - giving him the day off for his birthday, basically giving him a puzzle to do with the key, being tailored and dressed up and given orders and gifts and spoilt, and also chided and told off

But when John is thinking about how Jessica was murdered, when he flies off the fucking handle, Finch doesn't have hold of him at all - John doesn't have hold of himself!

And you can see how flustered and nervous and flushed Finch is about it as John basically growls at him to back off

person of interest is an insane show. god is real. she is a system of computer networks and cameras across the world. everybody is gay. all cops are dirty. the government is lying to you, muderous, and somehow effective, which we all know it isn't. murder! so much murder! gay bookworm. main character holds lesbian hostage to stop her from communicating with god, the computer. oh and there's a dutch killer dog.

the beauty of early 2000s shows is that they just... stuck to the bit. You watch this show to see a neurodiverent man solve crime with his best friend, you will get that for 8 seasons. We said this show would be about an ex-spy and his employer who built an AI and the people they save. They will do it even when they admit in the show it makes no sense because that's what you signed up for. Leverage commited so much that they got a modern version that still does the same thing instead of being 6 episode seasons about one big con.

I miss "filler" episodes, but they aren't filler because that's what you signed up for! that's why you watch the show! to see them do the thing you started watching the show for!

A soft, inconsequential, brush of shoulders and suddently they're assulted by each other's thoughts.

They're disoriented, and extremely dizzy as they try to gain their composure. Luckily for them they're sitting down, unlucky for them they both think about 40 different things a minute.

So you might guess their predicament on this peculiar case. They're both startled and mystified by the situation, and most of all MAD.

This is the worse time EVER for them to find their soulmate. Not only because Frank is married, but also because they're hiding in the break room of an ER. That's a disaster waiting to happen.

So, they do what they do best when confronted with something theyre really don't want to deal with. They ignore it after spending 10 minutes yelling in their minds and coming to the conclusion that they might as well devide and conquer while they're at it.

And yes, Mel might have pushed a bit on imagines and general thoughts about good rehabs that she got to know trough the VA, but who can blame her? Frank? He's too busy ignoring her for that! Not her falut, truly.

So, when Frank ends up in rehab anyways? Mel is literally just one thought away gossiping away with him and generally keeping him company. And really, isn't it so nice to have someone who KNOWS what you're thinking/trying to say when words elude you??

And if a one too many digs about "I don't knkw what goes on in your brain, Frank! You have to tell me" from Abby is what makes him ask for a divorce no one can blame him ig
