The West would be much healthier if we rose and retired according to the sun, ate natural home grown foods, reduced artificial light exposure, lived within walking distance of extended family, worked with our hands, and spent at least half our day outside.

We’re not meant to wake up and immediately have a screen in our face, shuffle to the kitchen to shovel down high fructose corn syrup or transfats, sit at a desk for 8 hours staring at a screen, come home and shovel down more high fructose corn syrup and transfats, stare at a another screen for 3 hours, sleep, repeat.
