Hi! My name is Charlie, I am a 29 y/o female who is currently in love with Choices. I like to write from time to time. My main pairing is Maxwell/MC from The Royal Romance, but I do not shy away from anyone else in that world. I post NSFW content, so please be aware.
Series Premise: Crown Prince Leo sneaks away during a diplomatic trip to Rome, capturing the attention of a celebrity photographer. Riley Brooks is desperate for her big break, and thinks she’s found it when she encounters Leo.
Leo thinks she doesn’t know who he is. Riley thinks he’s her ticket to a big paycheck. What will happen in the few days they spend together, before he must return to his duties?
Inspired by the film Roman Holiday.
Books: The Royal Romance and Rules of Engagement (AU)
Pairing: Leo x Riley
Series warnings: alcohol consumption, angst, cursing, suggestive language, smut, and violence. NSFW
Summary: Riley and Maxwell explore each other a little more.
Word Count: 1511
Rating: T (nudity mentioned)
Notes: Additional scene for Book 3 Chapter 17 (Vegas).
Laughter bounces off the walls like the lights of Vegas, multicolored and bright, enveloping the whole hotel room in a warm hue. Everything melts together – colors, sounds, scents… everything – until Maxwell, slightly dizzy from wiggling underneath her like an eel, can only feel her fingers tickling his sides, his stomach muscles tense and shaking.
This takes place 5 years from My Life’s Booked, and is part of my When in Rome AU.
Thank you so much for the softness prompt, @gkittylove99 ❤️
“You….sorry, you just got a little something on your face…here, let me get it for you.”
I don’t know how soft this is because these two are just 🤣😂
This also sort of answers a separate anon ask, I’ll link it following this post.
I’m participating in @wackydrabbles, the prompt will be in bold.
Chapter Warning: Suggestive conversation, injury, swearing, general inappropriateness of WiR Leo and Riley.
Word Count: 1141
“Fuck!” Riley screeched and grabbed her big toe. “Stupid end table.”
Leo wasn’t asleep, but if he were, that would have woken him up. He grumbled as he rose to a seated position, getting his bearings before standing and following his wife of almost one year’s voice.
“We need a new apartment.” Leo scooped Riley up and sat at the small dining table. He pressed gently on her toe, seeing a dark spot that would turn into a bruise.
“You’re fine.” Leo touched her toe gently now. “Nothing’s broken.”
“Why do we need a new place?” Riley touched the spot she hit experimentally and winced.
“This hovel is too damn small.” Leo kissed her bare shoulder, running his eyes over her silk pajama set. This one was black, and had strategic sheer cutouts on the sides.
“Hovel? Really?” Riley touched her toe again, just before Leo grabbed her hand. She’d never stop, and they both knew it. “We aren’t here that much.”
“Baby, next circuit is my last for racing.” Leo reminded her. “Then I’m the coach. We’ll be here a little more.”
“I love this apartment,” Riley whined. “It has character.”
“It has something all right.” Leo glanced at Riley. “Broke ass Riley got this shoebox. We make a bazillion times the rent!”
“I happen to love it.” Riley jutted her chin out. “Go find somewhere else, get a fancier girlfriend. Forget you know where I live.”
“You’re such a drama llama.” Leo kissed her head. “I don’t want fancy. Just an apartment where I can’t see the kitchen from the bed.”
Riley exhaled noisily. She hated when he made valid points.
“We could get a nicer place.” Leo coaxed. “One with actual counters and shit, plus room for a couch.”
“Who’s cooking?” Riley wrinkled her nose. “I can make frozen pizza.”
“I can do dehydrated ramen.” Leo shrugged, deciding to back off. “What were you trying to do before you nearly died?”
Riley pointed to the freezer. “Hungry.”
Leo snickered and stood, lifting her with him. Riley opened the door and grabbed an ice cream sandwich, Leo taking the other one she offered.
Leo walked back to the table, Riley still in his arms, and sat.
They ate in silence, Riley thinking about how the circuit would be different when Leo didn’t race, Leo thinking about something that had popped into his head a few minutes earlier.
“Maybe you shouldn’t be on birth control.” Leo finally said.
“What, do we live in some dystopia where you’re in charge of my uterus now?” Riley turned disbelieving eyes on Leo.
“I meant because maybe we should have a baby.”
Riley laughed. “Us? Really?”
“Why not?” Leo huffed, polishing off the ice cream sandwich. He wiggled his fingers at Riley, who grinned and licked the remnants of the chocolate cookie off them.
“Leo, you described in excruciating detail what you were going to do to me later at your brother’s wedding. Your dad was sitting near us. You weren’t quiet.” Riley smirked. She thought Constantine would pass out, the color drained from his face so fast. Sadly, he did not.
“So? Educational.” Leo shrugged. “Act like you didn’t appreciate it.”
“I’m not saying I didn’t.” Riley shivered a little at the memory of Leo more than living up to his promises. “We are the reason Liam had to tell Ellie to stop saying “self complete” instead of winning.”
“In our defense, we didn’t know she was listening.” Leo cringed at the memory. Liam had not been happy.
“Why do you want a baby?”
“Aren’t we supposed to do that?” Leo frowned. “We’re married.”
“So?” Riley curled her lip. “Do you actually want one?”
“I don’t know. Don’t you?”
“Diapers and crying does not sound like a good time to me.” Riley lifted her shoulders again. “I have no idea. Shouldn’t you know before you decide to?”
“Probably.” Leo agreed. “Or at least be people that don’t eat ice cream sandwiches for breakfast.”
“It’s dairy. That’s breakfast.” Riley giggled, catching sight of something on the other side of Leo’s face.
“What?” Leo looked around, trying to see what was so funny.
Riley kept laughing. “You….sorry, you just got a little something on your face…here, let me get it for you.”
Leo felt Riley’s nails scrape his skin as she pulled something off his cheek. She held up a sparkly unicorn sticker.
“Where the fuck did that come from?”
“Ellie.” Riley set the sticker on the table. “She sent that letter with a few stickers. I read it in bed; one must have gotten loose. You probably slept on it.”
“She’s fucking awesome.” Leo grinned. “She calls me Weo. It sounds like wheel.”
“Not bad for a four-year-old.” Riley agreed. “She’s cute, but I’m not sad to hand her back over when we visit.”
“Me either.” Leo nodded. “Maybe we’re just supposed to be awesome aunts and uncles.”
“You know, if we had a baby,” Riley started laughing so hard she snorted. “My boobs would be off limits to you.”
“What!”
“You remember Ari’s,” Riley put her hands a few feet from her chest. “Stupid huge after, and her nipples were gigantic and sore.”
“I do not remember my sister-in-law’s boobs,” Leo shot Riley an annoyed look. “She showed you?”
“Yeah.” Riley let her hands fall back to the table. “Pain city.”
“That settles it.” Leo worked his hands under her shirt, cupping her breasts. “No kids.”
“Can we be serious a second?” Riley grabbed Leo’s chin and forced him to look at her.
“In theory.” Leo massaged her for a few seconds and slid his hands out from under her shirt. “What?”
“If it’s just us,” Riley released his chin, “that’s okay, right?”
“Of course.” Leo nuzzled her nose. “I was just thinking out loud, wondering if we were freaks.”
“We are.” Riley hopped up, momentarily forgetting about her toe until she put weight on it. “Fuckity ow!”
Leo chuckled and stood, putting an arm around Riley to help her hobble to the bed. “You’re a mess.”
“So are you.” Riley stuck her tongue out at Leo, who promptly leaned down and poked it with his tongue.
“We’ll be messes together.” Leo sat beside her. “Can we at least get a bigger place? And a couch?”
“Why are you so obsessed with couches?”
“Because the only seating is our bed, which should only be for sleeping and fucking, or rickety kitchen chairs.”
“Please, like we make it to the bed. Or the apartment.”
“Listen to me, woman.” Leo poked her side. “Bigger place, okay?”
“If we get a couch, are you finally going to sleep on it?”
“Sure.” Leo chuckled. “Or you can.”
“Fine. We can move. Get adult furniture.” Riley leaned over and kissed him.
You guys!! Look at my babies!!!! I'm so thankful for the friends I've made on here, this piece was commissioned for me by @ao719 and created by the amazingly talented @neonravensart, thank you so much Queenie I love it!
“I told you I don’t like short forms. I am Bertrand.”
“Oh! come on Bertie, do I expect you to call me Leonardo?”
“That’s the choice you have made. I prefer proper names.”
“I pray you get a commoner as a wife who screws up your prim and proper, and gives your children names like Minnie, Rosy and Bartie.”
“I think we will talk when you are sober Crown prince Leonardo DiCaprio.”
“You are more drunk then me Bert. You just called me by name of a Hollywood actor.”
Bastein pulled up both Leo and Bertrand. “ It’s enough. You both are drunk and need to get back home.”
A snippet for my dear friend @yourmajesty09 from Leo's life. Some of you may have read it earlier. I don't know. But this one wasn't put up on my masterlist. So here we are.
P/S: Here’s a big news about my next Art Commission. I will open the order starting from 1/6/2019 till 15/6/2019, in which I’ll start all of the drawing progress after that 15th June. So yeap, stay alert on the date stated above ^^! and more updates will be posted later. Don’t forget to turn on the notification if you’re interested in commissioning!
This fic (or total cluster, you decide) is my submission for this week’s #WackyDrabble. #WackyDrabbles is a creative exercise started by @emceesynonymroll and is continued by @wackydrabbles. This week’s prompt is I didn’t mean to worry you and will appear in bold.
I suppose it’s a crossover of sorts between Platinum (which I have never read) and TRR/TRH; if it makes zero sense, unrealistic, or is uninteresting … I apologize in advance.
Please do not feel obligated to read.
And the song lyrics in this fic? All mine! Somebody call Beyonce.
This intro/author’s note would not be complete without me sending a HUGE thank you to my numerous pre-readers, both in part and in whole. You are all so hugely appreciated!
I hope everyone who reads this story enjoys it as much I enjoyed writing it. Please excuse any and all typos, missing/extraneous words, and/or grammatical errors.
All characters (except Alejandro) belong to Pixelberry.

This is a selection from (the oh so late) newest addition to "Hoping for Home":
"She's a vision tonight. She looks almost exactly the same as I remember her; as if time skipped her somehow."
"I'm sorry, what?" Maxwell blinked, looking back at her.
"Duchess Libby. She looks beautiful."
He stared down into his glass.
"Can't argue with you there," he mumbled, swirling his ice and mint leaves.
Penelope placed a hand on her ex-husband's shoulder.
"You should dance with her. It's never too late, you know. To be happy with the one you love."
"Pen, I'm don't-"
"You do, and you always have. Maybe it isn't my place to say it, but I'd bet she feels the same." She tipped her head towards Libby across the room. Maxwell glanced in her direction to find Libby staring only to look away when his eyes met hers.
"Wishes come true at the festival of lights, Max. You lost her once. You really shouldn't let her get away this time."

The princess was cursed that her first husband would die a horrible death. In order to avoid this horrible fate the royal family used you as a scapegoat and married you to the princess. But because of your immortality you have died over 20 times and still come back to life.
“Darling one of these days we should really let my parents in on your, um, condition.”
The arrow lodged within my chest comes out cleanly as I remove it, admiring the feathers before adding it to my collection. “Now where’s the fun in that, love? Their assassins are just starting to get creative.”
(this prompt was keeping me up at night so here you go… A bit different than how I normally write but I had fun with it!)
My first brush with death was, technically speaking, before I was really alive.
You see, my father was a necromancer who saved his lady love from an untimely end. Coincidentally, she was also with child at the time of this little intervention. There’s no telling if he ever considered the ramifications of his defiance of fate that day. I never did ask. I don’t know that it would have made much of a difference. So long as he had my mother back.
We lived well, my parents and I. My father made his living as a “healer” whose reputation preceded him in a number of social circles, bringing with it many a well paying customer hoping to buy his discrepancy. Duelists who let things get out of hand. Those with secrets and regrets they wished to undo as quietly as possible. Their reasons never really mattered much so long as they paid in full. Some made surprisingly good children’s entertainers. But I suppose people will do just about anything when there’s a life on the line. Even answer an endless stream of questions from a child up passed their bedtime.
By the time of my second brush with death I had grown into a young man. All told it was rather underwhelming. The stable had caught fire from a lightning strike. In my rush to save the horses I foolishly turned my back on our more unpredictable mare, earning me an unfortunate blow to the head.
I woke up in the mud before my father even reached the scene. I assumed then that I had just been lucky. If my parents had any suspicions to the contrary, they never voiced them.
Tender Moments Drabble #3: Reassurance [Maxwell and Simone]
“I see the way he looks at you, the way he still looks at you.” Maxwell locks eyes with Simone through her vanity mirror.
“Is this something you are concerned about?” Simone turns from the vanity mirror to face Maxwell directly.
“Sometimes. It’s been three years, Simone. He needs to let you go like you’ve let him go.”
“Wait Max. I didn’t need to let Liam go because he never had me. Sure, I went through the social season, but I only came to Cordonia because you asked me. You were who I had my sights set on all along.”
“So you were just using Liam to get to me?”
“I wouldn’t put it in those words, but, yes, I guess I did.”
“Thank you.”
“For?”
“Indulging my ego. I don’t, nor have I ever, doubted your love for me, Simone. You’ve simply given me no reason to. Sometimes I just need reassurance and somehow you unknowingly find ways to provide it to me.”
