“That’s quite alright,” Phoenix replied, smiling as she answered the phone. “You do whatever you need to do. The boys are having a lovely time with Jess.”

JJ smiled as she saw nibs, she gave Aslan a pat on his head. She walked slowly over to nibs and wave Sher hand. ,, Welcome you all". The woman sighed placing a hand on her stomach and took a deep breath. ,, Nibs… Would you have a little moment ? Heh…“ JJ gestured toward the living room, as the kids ran to the kitchen. The boys clothing!bed onto the the chair, patiently waiting for their mum and aunts to join them. JJ actually wished to hide into the ground, but it was time that nibs knew about her situation. @phoenixjsparrow

Phoenix looked between them all then at the children. “Jess, take your friends outside, Sweetie. Dinner isn’t quite ready yet. Go play in the garden.”

“Okay, Mummy,” she said, taking Eva’s hand and leading her outside.

Phoenix put her hand on JJ’s shoulder. “It’s Ok, JJ.”

Eva obediently followed Jess, she knew when the adults had something they wanted to discuss privately and was more then happy to keep an eye on the kids. Aslan, however, gave a groan, “But I’m hungry…”

“Go outside for a while…it’s almost done,” Nibs smiled at him and ruffled his hair. “We won’t eat it without you..”

Aslan went off in a bit of a hump as Nibs looked at Phoenix and JJ, raising an eyebrow. “Ok, what’s going on?” She looked at JJ. “Are you pregnant again JJ?” She grinned.

,, I…well…uhm.“JJ blinked and robbed the back of her head in embarrement. Her cheeks started colouring into a soft pink, as she was barely able to say a word. It felt like a stone was stuck in her throat, and she wasn’t able to swallow it down. She breathed in and nodded. All though that JJ was not sure if nibs was joking or not, but her friend was quite right. She was pregnant, and that of nibs brothers child. JJ wasn’t even sure if nibs knew about Tim’s and JJ’s one night stand in las Vegas. ,,Y-yes i am nibs… I’m pregnant… ”, The woman stuttered ,, and I’m a Cas… I married Timothy…I … Uhm". She looked over to phoenix, as she actually wanted to sink into the ground. ,, It all happened when we were in Vegas… We were drunk…it kinda went out of hand.“ JJ looked back to nibs with a sorry expression on her face, as she stepped a little to the side to sit down onto one of the chairs. @phoenixjsparrow

Nibs wasn’t quite sure where to look, or what to feel. She was happy to have JJ in her family, but she was also feeling rather angry at Timothy for allowing it to happen. 

In the end, she decided to step forward and give JJ a big hug. “I’m so glad you’re a Cas JJ, but I am going to kill Timothy when I see him…”

JJ looked over to phoenix placing her hand, on phoes as a gesture of gratefulness. She turned her gaze back to nibs, before she was hugged. JJ hesitated for a moment before hugging nibs back, she waved at phoenix to join in on the hug. ,,… Heh… I still need to tell him.“, JJ mumbled with a shaky voice. ,, I don’t know where he is at the moment.” She sighed and smiled a little. ,, I’m glad that I can stay with phoenix for a bit… I don’t quite know what to do…“ @phoenixjsparrow

Phoenix stepped closer and joined her friends. "You're both always welcome here," she said softly.

She looked over at JJ. "If you don't know where he is right now then you can't tell him yet anyway, but as soon as you find out, I wouldn't recommend leaving it any longer than you have to."

Nibs had been out of the picture for a while. It had been her fault, and she felt kinda bad about it, but for some reason this pregnancy was taking it’s toll on her more then what Aslan had.  

Nibs had returned to England with her family, wanting to be near her parents when the time came. She had decided to go and do some shopping, leaving Aslan and Eva in her mother’s care, when she felt really tired all of a sudden, and so decided to go and sit in a coffee shop for a while.

“She’ll just be more glad to see you to worry about being in the back. She won’t mind,” Phoenix said as she pulled away.

“And as for Scott, I’d only met him that day so I felt ridiculously awkward. JJ arranged a meet for us because she thought we’d get on. But yeah, the first time I ever meet him, realise he’s the famous Scott Tracy, son of the famous astronaut Jeff and I end up in his hotel room! I was so worried I’d cause all sorts of trouble for him. Stupid paparazzi stuff like Scott Tracy seen going with pregnant woman to hotel or something equally stupid. But he was just so kind.”

She turned the car onto the road that would lead them to the school. “Sorry, I’m rambling,” she muttered, smiling at her friend with a blush.

“Aww, bless her,” Nibs smiled, leaning back in her seat, happy to be sitting down, even if it hadn’t been much of a walk. She swore her ankles swelled to the size of melons sometimes. 

She gave a little chuckle. “It’s quite all right. And I don’t recall seeing anything about it in the papers, so I’m sure it turned out all right. I don’t really know Scott that well, it’s mainly Gordon and John I’ve interacted with, but I think all five of them were raised to be complete gentlemen.”

Phoenix smiled. “I got that impression,” she said. “The ones I’ve met are incredibly sweet.”

They pulled up outside the school and Phoenix stopped. “Wanna wait here while I go get her? Or wanna come with? You’re welcome to stay if you’d rather stay sat.”

“I’ll sit and wait, thank you,” Nibs smiled. “I’ll probably only get in the way, or washed away in the crowd.” She gave a small chuckle.

Phoenix wasn't gone long. When she returned she had Jess skipping and bouncing along with her.

"Auntie Nibsie!" she squealed happily as she reached the car. She leaned in the window and grinned. "Hello! I've been at school! We did PE and my shoe fell off while I was on the climbing frame."

"Alright, Jess, calm down," Phoenix said. "Get in and be careful."

Phoenix had been surprised when Mike arrived at her door that morning, but being relatively early, she had insisted he come inside. She settled him at the table and set about making him some breakfast, cooking up sausages, beans, eggs and fried bread.

Mike robbed the back of his head and lend back in his chair. He had the feeling like he had really screwed up. it was one thing to say something wrong but the look on phoenix’s face gave him a shower over his back.

She shook her head. "It's not you, Mike," she said softly. "I'm pleased for you guys. It's just... I guess I'm feeling a bit hormonal or something."

She smiled at him slightly then sighed. "I just... I'm lonely." There. She'd admitted it.

Mike gladly came into Phoenix’s house. He and JJ where just married, and he wanted to get her friends a bit better to know. “just thought it was nice to come around, I was around with the military so yeah.”

“Fair enough,” she replied, taking a plate over to him. “Is that alright for you? I could fry up some bacon, too, if you’d like?”

Mike smiled “oh thank you, this is more than enough"he laughed “so what have you been up to for the rest of the day ? do you have anything planned ?”

“Um, not much, actually,” she said, shrugging as she ate her own. “Why?”

“that’s great” Mike took a spoon full of his breakfast, and chewed before he anwered phoenix. “What if we would go and see if we find something nice for that little guy or girl in there” He smiled.

She tilted her head at him, confused. “Um, sorry?”

Mike blinked ” I mean JJ and I haven’t gotten anything for them yet, so I just thought that would be a nice thing"

“Uh, you don’t have to get anything,” she said, reaching for her juice, but smiling softly.

“you could say it’s a family tradition to get something for the baby” he chuckled tapping his fingers on the table. “ We usually get biscuits with white and blue, or white and pink hagelschlag”.

“Oh right,” she said. “Well, that’s up to you, I guess. You don’t have to though.” She looked from her glass over to him. “Oh! I haven’t offered you a drink,” she said, standing up again. “What would you like?”

“ a glass of water would be very nice, thank you phoenix” Mike smiled “ you could say that it would be a pleasure to give you a little something.”

She smiled at him and went over to the sink, running the tap while she retrieved a glass to make sure the water was nice and cool. “Well, I still say you don’t have to,” she said, returning with the glass. “Honestly.”

“I won’t change my mind” he laughed and took a sip of his water. “I didn’t give up with JJ, so I won’t give up with a little getting you a little something.”

Mike corrected his uniform “ I’m glad that everything is starting to work out. JJ and I might get a house together.”

Phoenix eased herself back into her seat. “Yes, JJ mentioned it. I’m really pleased for you both. I’m glad things are going well.” She smiled slightly, then looked back at her breakfast, not sure she was hungry anymore.

She looked up at him. “Hmm?” She realised he’d spoken to her. “No, No, it’s Ok, it’s nothing.”

She offered a small smile though in truth she felt a little jealous of her friends. They were settling down together and she’d been left by the man she thought had cared. Left her to become a single parent before her child even arrived.

Scott lifted Jess up into his arms, watching the girl for a moment before setting her down in bed. " Alright young lady it's time for bed.", He said with a bit of a serious face.

The tiny girl nuzzled against Scott’s arm, grasping his finger as she yawned deeply.

Phoenix stood in the doorway, watching. She’d been so grateful that Scott had been able to visit. Things had been quiet for her, aside from Jess not sleeping through the night yet.

“We’re both very glad you could visit this week,” Phoenix said. “She’s settling so much better than she used to but still not sleeping right through yet.”

“ I’m glad that I’m here aswell. You wouldn’t believe how much we have to do lately, so many things happened, it was just tiring.”, Scott smile softly at the kid clinging to his arm. He stroked a hand over her head before getting up and putting the blanket over her.

“ Sweet dreams Jess”, he whispered to her, quietly straightening his back and walking over to phoenix. “ It’s the age I guess, Alan used to get up in the middle of the night and asked us to play with him, or read a story to him. You should have seen my father sit there in his pyjamas playing with tiny rocket toys with him. He almost looked like he was asleep.”

Phoenix chuckled. “I can imagine. But Jess is probably a few months off sleeping through.” She reached down to stroke her tiny daughter’s hair.

“But thank you for coming.” She looked down at her baby girl before looking back at him. “Anyway. Can I get you a drink or anything?”

“ A cup of coffee would be nice”, Scott replied with a smile on his face. He glanced a small look over to the girl before he turned his gaze again.

“ Maybe some try giving her some calming tea, it usually helped us.”, He pet his chin in thoughts. “ Or a cup of warm milk and honey might help aswel ”

“Hmm, I think she may still be a little young for that. She wants feeding when she wakes,” she said, flicking on the kettle.

Reaching up, she took two mugs down from the shelf above her and started to prepare some drinks. “She’ll settle soon enough.” She grinned at him. “Didn’t Alan keep waking in the night when he was a baby? I assume you’d still remember that.”

“ hmmm yeah I agree.” Scott mumbled robbing his chin. “ Why, yes he did. And he did that rather often. And then I have to say he was the most quiet baby of us all I think.”

He smiled softly at the woman infront of her “ usually dad was woken by him, but we helped him as far as we could.’

She smiled at him. “Its so sweet that you helped your dad like that,” she said. “I’d love to have help but, y'know. We’re getting by.”

She picked up the mugs and went over to sit at the table. “I appreciate you coming over though.”

JJ bit her lower lip, well she did want to tell nibs about the whole situation, but was this the right moment. The kids already knew, so it was just fair to tell nibs aswell. And it was certainly time that they saw eachother again.

,, Well sure, that sounds nice. I’ll prepare a pizza then too.“ JJ said.

Phoenix smiled at her. “It’ll be alright,” she said, laying a hand on her arm. “I’ll be with you and this is Nibs we’re talking about. I’m sure she won’t get mad.”

Jess grinned up at JJ. “We have ice cream when we have pizza, don’t we Mummy?” she said, looking at Phoenix, who smiled back.

“Alright, Jess, you go play, I’ll phone Auntie Nibs.” Phoenix watched her daughter run off before picking up her phone and sending a text.

Hey Nibs, it’s Phoe. We got JJ and the boys here staying over and I think Jess wants more company. D’you and the kids want to join?

Nibs looked down at her phone as it went off, giving a little smile as she saw Phoenix’s message. She was sitting on the sofa, watching the kids play a video game together. 

“Hey, Eva, Aslan, fancy going to over to Phoe’s place and seeing Jess, JJ and her boys are there too.”

There was a mini chorus of ‘yeah!’ has Eva and Aslan jumped up and rushed off to get themselves ready. 

Nibs gave a chuckle and got up, turning off the games console and tidying it away before going to get herself together.

,, ice cream it is then", JJ smiled before finishing the pizza’s off, and shoving them into the oven. Now was it the certain feeling that her hormones were playing haywire. JJ was certain that the smile on her face was to big for her own good. She set the alarm clock and turned around to face phoenix again. @phoenixjsparrow

Making sure the children were safely strapped in, Nibs made her way to Phoenix’s house in her yellow Beetle. It didn’t take them too long, Aslan was the first out of the car upon arrival. Running to the door and knocking on it, before ringing the bell.

“Aslan,” Nibs frowned slightly. “Control yourself.” 

“Sorry Nana,” Aslan grinned sheepishly.

The boys ran excited​ off to open the door with a loud ,, hello “ where Alan nibs and Eva greeted. ,, Auntie phoe !!!!” Jonathan barked out running back into the house. ,, Not that loud Jonathan", JJ muttered with a small frown. ,, It’s the hormones I think…“she replied to phoenix. @phoenixjsparrow

Phoenix nodded at her then smiled. “It’s okay,” she said, following the boys to the door.

“Nibs, glad you could make it!” she said with a grin. “Aslan, Eva, go pop your shoes under the stairs then you can go to the kitchen. Your mum has perfect timing. The pizza is ready. Like right now!”

“Pizza!” Aslan shouted excitedly, nearly forgetting himself and running in with out taking his shoes off. Eva managed to catch him, though. <p>“Shoes first, they won’t eat it all without you,” Eva said as Nibs greeted Phoenix. Aslan quickly took his shoes off, practically throwing them under. Eva was more careful, setting both their shoes tidily under the stairs, before following Aslan in to the kitchen.</p> <p>“Hey Phoe, Hey JJ!” Nibs cheerily called out to the kitchen has she took her own shoes off. “Thanks for inviting us over,”</p> <p> @imonlyahumanbeing

Nibs looked down at her phone as it went off, giving a little smile as she saw Phoenix’s message. She was sitting on the sofa, watching the kids play a video game together. 

“Hey, Eva, Aslan, fancy going to over to Phoe’s place and seeing Jess, JJ and her boys are there too.”

There was a mini chorus of ‘yeah!’ has Eva and Aslan jumped up and rushed off to get themselves ready. 

Nibs gave a chuckle and got up, turning off the games console and tidying it away before going to get herself together.

Making sure the children were safely strapped in, Nibs made her way to Phoenix’s house in her yellow Beetle. It didn’t take them too long, Aslan was the first out of the car upon arrival. Running to the door and knocking on it, before ringing the bell.

“Aslan,” Nibs frowned slightly. “Control yourself.” 

“Sorry Nana,” Aslan grinned sheepishly.
