I am Heba Al-Dahdouh. I currently live in the completely destroyed city of Gaza. Since the war on Gaza began on 7/1/2024, my family—my father Nasif, my mother Asmaa, and my siblings Khaled, Ahmad, Muhammad, and Malak—have been living in constant fear, crying, and suffering due to shrapnel, shells, and bullets.
We have no food, no electricity, no cooking gas, no schools, no homes, no cleaning supplies, and no clothes. Our house was completely destroyed. My school has been bombed, and my brother Khaled's university is now rubble, depriving us all of education. The war has forced us to live in displacement centers, which are just tents unsuitable for living, especially in winter.
Every day we live death, terror, and panic a thousand times because of the ongoing bombardment of my city. The war has killed more than 50 of my relatives and neighbors. At the start of the war, we sought refuge at my aunt's house, but it too became rubble. Imagine: we have survived imminent death more than 20 times and have been displaced among shelters more than 13 times. My siblings and I have suffered from many illnesses due to malnutrition, and we need medication continuously.

The passing of my father, a victim to the cruel grasp of hunger and inadequate healthcare, left a void in our lives, underscoring the fragility of our existence here. My brother, Samer, battles bipolar disorder, a condition exacerbated by the ongoing war and the severe shortage of essential medications. Without access to the necessary treatment, his life is at risk, and we live in constant fear for his well-being amidst the chaos that surrounds us. These personal tragedies have deepened the urgency of our situation.
Every day is a struggle for survival, and each night is filled with prayers for a brighter tomorrow. Yet, amidst the darkness, we hold onto hope, seeking solace in the belief that one day, the clouds of war will dissipate, and we will find the peace and stability we so desperately crave. Until then, we endure, clinging to the threads of our resilience, and nurturing dreams of a safer, healthier future for us all.
Our home, once a sanctuary of love and warmth, was destroyed, displacing us into a life of uncertainty and fear. The laughter of my children and my sister's daughters, once the music of our home, is now silenced by the echoes of conflict. They deserve a future where education and happiness are not just dreams but realities.

My family and I are facing unimaginable hardship due to the ongoing war in Gaza. We have lost our home, my career, and our sense of safety. Now, we are living in a small tent, trying to survive each day amidst the chaos and destruction.
Before the war, I worked as an instructional designer, building a future for my family. But that life has been shattered. We are now desperate to find safety and start over. But we need your help. My name is Sameer Al Khaldi. I am a Palestinian refugee living in Gaza with my family of 17 people in a tent facing the worst war in human history. During the current Gaza war, my house was completely destroyed resulting in the loss of my business and all our belongings. Me and my family have since been displaced in the streets with no shelter, lack of access to food, drinking water, and healthcare necessities. Despite we were camping in areas which were announced as safe, we faced an imminent danger of death by Israeli airstrikes in our camping neighborhoods several times which resulted in serious physical and psychological impacts on us as well as my little grandsons. I am writing this fundraiser hoping to get help with your generous donations to evacuate Gaza immediately to a safer country.
Before the war, we were having a normal life in Gaza having our own business and working hard with my sons and brothers to be able to survive under the Gaza siege. We were preparing for my daughter's wedding which was supposed to take place this summer but unfortunately she got all her wedding dresses and belongings gone with the destroyed house. She's now left with nothing hoping to be able to get married to her fiancé in a safer place one day. One of my sons was supposed to complete his high school education this year and was passionate about enrolling in a university to study business but the war deprived him from this success and left him hopeless while seeing other students in the west bank receiving their high school certificates while he's left behind. I hope this fundraiser with your generous support would help him to get out of Gaza and continue his education and achieve his life goals abroad. The funds collected through this fundraiser will be used to pay for the travel expenses for myself and my family of 17 people including 9 adults and 8 children. We hope one day will be able to rebuild our lives peacefully and get back to stable conditions with safety and protection for our kids like other children in the world.
