cis allies could do us a massive solid by understanding that gender binarist ideology does not actually promote a two-gender system. That's propaganda concealing what is actually a three-gender system of Men, Women, and Faggots.

This isn't a contradiction. You can't prop up 'Man' and 'Woman' as archetypes that you have a moral obligation to conform to unless you also have a third gender category you can assign to nonconformity. You can't collapse the faggot gender into a 'true' gender binary without also collapsing man and woman as categories.

And so, ironically, maintaining a gender binary means somebody always needs to be the faggot. And from where I'm standing, there's a lot of super transphobic cis people out here who wholeheartedly believe they were experiencing male/female socialization when actually they were being socialized for the role of the faggot.
