Long hair wyll? Ponytail? Or just hairstyles you think could be fun for him. Love how you draw him!!
Thank you! I’ve always imagined him with twists. He could pull off anything, though.
A Tav/Wyll wedding commission for @wildmelon !

I really think everyone needs to truly internalize this:
Fictional characters are objects.
They are not people. You cannot "objectify" them, because they have no personhood to be deprived of. They have no humanity to be erased. You cannot "disrespect" them, because they are not real.
I know this has good intentions, so I will just add the "how you treat them, even as objects of fiction, can speak about your own character, be careful out there"
Your addition is actually completely antithetical to my message. It is literally the opposite of what I am conveying.
Stop telling people to encourage the cop inside their head.
How you treat fictional characters, given they are entirely objects of fiction, does NOT necessarily speak to your own character, and you do not need to be "careful".
It is not dangerous to imagine dark things happening to fictional characters. It does not mean you are secretly a bad person. It does not mean you unconsciously want to hurt people in real life. It is not a "slippery slope" to doing bad things to people in real life. You cannot damage your brain or turn yourself into a bad person by consuming "dark" fanfic.
I can write tentacle noncon of my favorite character all day long and be a fierce anti-sexual assault advocate in real life because what I do in my head is not the same thing as what I do in real life.

I have you at knifepoint and you MUST eat one of these British foods 🔪
beans on toast
shepherd's pie (unseasoned)
mushy peas
cucumber sandwich
unidentified meat + potato (unseasoned, grey)
tuna mayo and sweetcorn
jellied eels
absolutely loving the responses to this, it's either horrified americans or british people defending these foods and no in between, keep it up guys 👍
I’ve worked out why Aveline just…doesn’t really do anything for me as a character in Dragon Age 2. And it’s not because she’s a shitty cop lady who persistently abuses her power (making rape accusations against guards go away, not letting Carver join the city guard etc.) It’s because she is the only character in Dragon Age 2 who doesn’t suffer any consequences for her actions.
Every single other companion has an ‘oh shit’ moment. A moment when they realise that they’ve fucked up; that they did wrong, and now it’s going to bite them (or the people they care about) in the ass. But Aveline…never does. Aveline’s abuse of power crops up again and again in the narrative, but it’s background. And then, in act 3, we are introduced to a quest in which it seems like she is finally going to have this moment: there are rumours she is a corrupt guard Captain who is doing her job poorly.
But then! The game makes you go interview her husband about this? And then is like HaHa actually she was good all along it was just this jealous rival who wanted her job and hates immigrants spreading these lies!
And it just…doesn’t thematically fit with literally anything going on in act 3, or indeed in the way each character is presented throughout the game.
So when I say ‘Aveline is boring’ or ‘I don’t really like Aveline’ what I mean isn’t that she’s a bad person, all the Kirkwall crew are bad people and that’s an important part of their whole thing! What I mean is that the game never makes her - or indeed us the player - reflect on that in the same way it does for all the other characters. Her ‘questioning belief’ quests, never actually question any beliefs, and her actions never have consequences that she has to reckon with.
Tags courtesy of @goatsorcery. Made a really good point.
all this relates to her being a cop and how cop’s abuse power and don’t face any consequences for their actions.
it’s literally ACAB in fact, she gets promoted for what she does to protect the guard. She benefits from her abuses of power.
