Ok so I think in one of your posts u said that your Player can’t rlly be emotionally invested or js be attached to anyone and I was wondering (if you ship them does or if you think they’re js rlly close) does this apply to Greifer?

yes, player feels little empathy (npd player truke) which isn't a problem to griefer. his whole life, he's had to hear everyone's opinions on him- he's troubled, he's grieving, he's a criminal. but player doesn't judge him for his past nor care, which is a relief to him if anything. he's glad to hang out with somebody who's talks real with him (even if they get on his nerves.)
player's confidently smug attitude makes it difficult to make friends. others put them off as egotistical, but that's just player's emotional honesty. yes, they think they're the best and totally awesome, why should they put themselves down for other people? but griefer doesn't tell player how they should feel. they're free to act however they want with him- in fact he challenges their title of The Best!
so they got a weird friendship rivalry thing going on and they make out sloppy style sometimes
