6.11.2014: Airport Pay Phone
I haven't been shooting very much for myself lately, but a trip to visit my father and a 5-day photo challenge from a friend encouraged me to shoot a little bit more. (I'm actually contemplating taking on another 365 project.) Our flight home was delayed and my little guy entertained himself by playing with the pay phone. I had to grab this shot.

52 Stories Photo Essay: Week 10
Brooklyn Bridge March 7, 2014
This week I decided to make the Brooklyn Bridge the subject of my photo essay. While overcast, the weather was relatively mild so I thought walking across the bridge would be a good idea. I completely forgot that it's about 10 degrees colder on the bridge than it is on land. Apparently most other people remembered, as there were fewer bikers, runners and pedestrians than I'm accustomed to during the summer. My hands were so cold it was difficult to concentrate or operate my camera, but I still managed to make it across the 1.1 mile bridge and complete my assignment.

Grand Central Terminal February 27, 2014
Revisiting my 2010 New York Public Library project last week inspired me to shoot another of my favorite places in New York City this week: Grand Central Terminal. It's impossible to tell the full story of this grand place in just 10 images.

New York Public Library January 2010
This week was so hectic that I didn't have a chance to shoot a photo essay. Instead, I've reached into my photo archive to post a project I completed in 2010, during my first year of studying digital photography. The project, titled "Public Solitude," used the New York City Public Library as a venue to explore being alone in a public place populated by many.

Super Bowl Boulevard January 31, 2014
I'm not a fan of football, but because the Super Bowl will probably never be in New York City again during my lifetime (or at least during my time living in New York City), I decided to check out Super Bowl Boulevard in Times Square.
