A pesar de esto las mujeres seguirán marchando, estos machitos no se saldrán con la suya, las mujeres son fuertes y no se dejarán vencer por nada, ánimo a todas

Referee forbids players speak in Basque during a regional league football match (Idiazabal - Elgoibar) [SPA]

Andalusian referee Manuel Sarrión González allegedly told the players before the match: "If somebody speaks in Euskara, I'll send him off". One of the coaches said the referee didn't want to hear a single word in Basque because "he wouldn't be able to understand if what was said was an insult".

Idiazabal & Elgoibar especially, that are two Basque-speaking towns. Two Basque-speaking football teams and one referee threatens the players because he’s afraid of not understanding insults.
