hello! this is a self-indulgent invertebrate related account.
we reblog invert stuff, but may occasionally post our own stuff. it depends. you'll usually see insects, but there may also be arachnids and other things mixed in.
seeing as this is a Bug Blog, we don't tolerate any invert hate here. yes this includes ticks, mosquitoes, and other biting bugs people don't usually like. this means no "kill it with fire" comments, okay?
tags are as follows:
#inverts - for any inverts i post. true bugs, arachnids, maybe even some marine inverts!
#[order name] - the classifications of certain inverts. for example, a butterfly or moth would be tagged #lepidoptera.
#bugs n crafts - tag for invert-related art of any kind. will usually be paired with the other above tags.
#not inverts - i think it's self explanatory? but yeah. this is anything that's not inverts for whatever reason that may be.
#asks - for any asks we get. not necessarily related to inverts. however, every ask (even invert ones) are put under this. to find specifically invert ones, see the tag below. #invert asks - asks specifically related to inverts!
i will also put these all in the tags for easier navigation! save for the order one, if you want a specific order you'll need to do that yourself unfortunately.
NOTE: some select groups of inverts may be tagged with a more broad term such as a class or phylum. i try to do order on the major insect groups though.
