Would you ever consider making an Alter/Ego tutorial or just straight up give some tips? I just installed it and I can make the singers go in realtime if I plug in my keyboard, but in all the tutorials/review videos of Alter/Ego or Chipspeech I've seen, it tends to begin with the piano roll already pulled up onscreen, and I have no idea how to get that. When I use the program it just shows like the default screen and the word editor and stuff, no way to edit notes for after I stop playing.

Are you using the standalone version of A/E? If so, I don’t have much knowledge of that. What I would recommend is opening A/E inside a DAW like LMMS or FL Studio. That way, you can open and close the piano roll whenever you like, and edit the notes like you would any other instrument track.
