Linktober Day 11: Dream/Nightmare AND Day 14: Statue

“Once her light is mine, Hyrule will crumble along with her.”

@linktober I put day 14 prompt because I’m posting this late after day 11 and 14, and since Zelda is a stone statue I thought that would fit with the “statue” prompt

This also gave me the inspiration and excuse to draw some colored art of my Post-Minish Cap Au Angst! *insert evil laugh*

I also want to thank @kristanlayne for helping me on this! She gave me very helpful tips and advice on the bold yellow highlights on Vaati and some of the shading on his cape, and the bold highlight on Zelda, as well as making the Light Force more prominent and brighter. She showed me a new brush I didn’t even know I HAD that I could use for the highlights too! Kristan, thank you so so SOOO MUCH on helping me with thissssss, I super appreciate the help!🩷 it was so much fun!!! THANK YOU UR AMAZING!!!!!

Ehehehehehe my babies coloreeeeeed they are so in love bro im about to explode

I had like so much empty space kinda-ish and I just doodled a couple stuff…but I was gonna do more but that felt too crowded so I just did background color effects lol

I re-did Cherie’s hair coloring and kinda just settled for this, might do a red do again at some time cause…it’s not exactly what I imagined in my head but it’s close enough! She had natural blond streaks in her brown hair, and I wanted to put that in somehow, but all the references I tried looking for on google like, gave me zero help so I just tried to do it myself lol

The story is a bit long actually so below the cut

Echoingvoids is one of my two go-to usernames on social media, the other being IMCRAZYFANFICTION which, while being incredibly iconic, was sometimes too long for certain sites. So I created this username using my Internet name as a jumping point.

The whole thing with me being "Echo" started from a fan-kid OC I made way back in 2022 named Echo. (If you're curious about her, you can read her poorly-written story on my Wattpad). I didn't want to use my real name online, and I really liked that name, so I kinda adopted it and became Echo.

OC Echo's thing was having powers surrounding "The Void" from Minecraft, and putting those things together, echoingvoids sounded really cool.

Its also kind of inspired by the Minecraft Dungeons DLC "Echoing Void", which plays through The End.

OK SO- PianoOfTime08 is one of my favorite usernames, and I think it’s so catchy too! It’s been my user name since she;I first got Reddit back like, in the beginning of high school I think, when I wanted Reddit to be in the TwiSetViolin subreddit, which they were my favorite musician YouTubers.

So some of you might already know it’s a Zelda reference, but Ocarina Of Time is my childhood game, (Alttp is too) and it’s one of my favorite video games, and the nostalgia I get when I would watch my uncle play it all the time and when he taught me to play it too…I just love it! Also, I play an instrument, the piano, so I combined two of some of my favorite things. As for the 08 part, well 8 is my favorite number!

So my favorite video game, then just replace the inrumenr ocarina with the instrument I play, piano, then add my favorite number, and you get PianoOfTime08!

It’s still my favorite username so that’s why I put it for my tumblr account when I made one! And there you go!

So, im not sure how I should do this…but im debating on if I should release a part 1 then part 2 of my pre-minish cap AU on my Minish Cap Link’s parents, on how they first met.
