Writing chapter 11 of Sages of Spring and listening to She Was Like a Sunflower (MOTHER 3 OST) for a scene. No one look at me

Fic Idea: Link wakes up after the Totk opening with his new arm, except… he can’t move it. Like, at best, he can make the fingers twitch. And also he keeps getting phantom pain. Yikes. So the constructs have to not only help him learn about the new things in the sky islands, but they also have to help him 1) relearn how to make his arm move, and 2) relearn all the coordination that he had in his old arm. Basically, Link has to get physical therapy from the constructs while also trying to make it through the first bit of the game. And, obviously, his arm won’t be just like his old one by the time he’s back on the ground. He’ll still have a lot of trouble doing stuff, and it’s all really frustrating for him because he’s so desperate to be useful again and go find Zelda.
