hey, i know people typically dislike seeing posts like these but PLEASE pay attention to what’s happening in brazil right now. the federal police are conducting various unauthorized operations with the sole intention of blocking the roads and keeping people from voting, specially in places where people mostly vote for the opposing candidate to the current president. you can probably guess that this is a pretty illegal attempt to keep the current president in power.

i am asking you to talk about this, to spread the word, to not let this happen in silence because we cannot let our country receive such shameless attacks to our democracy like this.

about a week ago, iranian woman Masha Amini passed away in a manner that was almost certainly caused by police brutality. feminist protests have been occurring ever since and it is imperative that we do our part by making ourselves and others aware of the situation to prevent the already growing death toll from growing even further!! keep these women and other protestors safe!!!

So I know they're not characters you've talked about much here, but I love your content and I don't know many IkeRev blogs (or Ikemen ones in general tbh - any recs?) so I figured I'd ask your thoughts. I've been thinking a lot about ships between the armies, and despite how much I ADORE the idea of a young Edgar/Luka, I'm wondering if Edgar/Seth would actually work. Like they have the most secrets, so they could probably empathize with each other more than any other characters could.

Ahhhh I'm so glad you enjoy my content! And yes, I have a lot of Ikerev blogs to recommend! Sadly, most of the blogs listed below are barely active, but I always have a blast going through their archive.

@edgarbright is one of the first people I followed, and her "History of Cradle" post is possibly one of the best things that's ever happened to this fandom. Her thoughts and commentary on the game is always worth listening to!

@kashimalin-fanfiction, @advernia, @serenity-writes, @oswaldsirius, and @toloveawarlord are all people who have written my absolute favorite Ikerev fics!

@alloveroliver is also a fanfic writer, except most of their fics are 18+, so minors should tread with caution! One of the best smut writers I've ever seen, and their fic "The Love Accords" is actually the only Jonah/Sirius fic I've ever seen in the Ikerev English fandom (it's the only comfort for my sad Jonah/Sirius heart).

@yuumira and @nan-chi are literally some of the best artists ever. My eyes are blessed every time I see their art

@littlelady-blackwell reblogs a lot of really good Ikerev content! Whenever I want to see some high-quality Ikerev posts, I always like to take a scroll through her blog!

@citizensofcradle makes incorrect quotes for the Ikerev characters, and their posts always makes me laugh!

@pianoperson and @incorrectikemenrevolution are both Jonah stan blogs, and I scream and cry and die of happiness whenever I see the Jonah love in their blogs _(:3」∠)_

There's so, so much other blogs that produce excellent content that I haven't listed, but these are the ones that came to mind the quickest!

And as for Edgar x Seth: tbh I've never really given it much thought until you brought it up! I can definitely see the potential in there, because they're so similar that they're probably the only ones who can really see through each other. I can’t really remember when they interacted tho, but the interaction will definitely be interesting to see!

I'm not active in Ikerev anymore, but Edgar/Seth has always been a flavor I lowkey enjoyed back then but never shared. They're two characters who have to hide something, and it so happens it relates to their families. And it's just OUGH so glad that they got a card together in one gacha

Essentially, learn the history of genocide against the Indigenous peoples, inform people so they know and want to help, and pay attention. Anti-Native racism happens all around you without you realizing it, and Native folks are always in need of help. Sometimes it's protests and demonstrations, sometimes we just need money for groceries.
