Shout out to Steve Harrington for apparently being the only genre-aware person in the Hawkins group, grabbing something to defend the group as soon as they hear a weird noise, poking stuff around with an oar, not letting the cursed girl spend too long on her own… and when Dustin mocks him, he snaps back, “considering the people in this room have nearly died about half a dozen times, I don’t find it funny”. He’s so right and he should say it. Steve KNOWS he’s in a horror film and he’s built to be the final girl.

I stumbled across this piece of writing above about Steve Harrington on Facebook and really liked it. It was posted on Facebook as a photo and didn’t have a link to where it originally came from.

I posted the photo of the writing on May 4 to Tumblr where I follow a bunch of Steddie fanfic writers. The photo had princessamericachavez’s username on it, so I thought it was clear I was not the original author. Another Tumblr user came across my post and thought I was trying to steal it as my own writing and called me out on it.

Anyway, this is the Tumblr post where @princessamericachavez originally wrote the thing about Steve Harrington that I liked so much. Apologies again to her and to anyone else who thought I was trying to steal her writing. That was never my intention.
