I love OK KO’s world. The way every character or family of characters seems to fit a pop culture theme. Fighting games, aliens, ninjas, robots, magical girls, power rangers, humanoid plants, hackers, furries, generic RPG enemies, supernatural stuff. It makes the possibility for character designs so open-ended. It’s like the equivalent of an early internet OC forum, with a bunch of people just inserting different characters and themes they like and somehow creating a functioning world together. It’s so fun.
