I don't think he's completely clueless actually. Skwisgaar has ran across many women and men in his lifetime he's bound to run across at least a handful of Trans people.

He'd probably be a little stupid about the nuance of gender and transition, but like, he also just generally does not care. He's not going to me more of an asshole than he already is.

Trust me he's more worried about being found out as gay than the men who make him gay.

Wouldn't really show an interest in the topic until you start dating.

And even then, it's probably sparked from how your testosterone shots work after watching you do them for minute rather than a questioning of your actual gender and your identity.

So needless to say, if you get dysphoric I think he'd have a hard time comforting you.

I think that other than Murderface he is the one with the most hang ups about his attraction to men.

He would be in sooo much denial, like, crazy insane denial. The repression is eating him alive.

I think it's most likely that you two meet casually, considing Nathan's pattern of girlfriends all seem to be more "normal" or "basic" even. So maybe a run in during one of their many misadventures in common society.

Who knows maybe you happen to get accidentally kidnapped! Yeah I'm sticking with that you were a common guy that got kidnapped by dethklok. Yep. Sold to one direction who?

Anyways Nathan would take the most notice of this while everyone else is too busy with their own bullshit. He wouldn't be attentive, but he's bored enough to talk to you.

He would have weird mushy dreams about you, he would blame it on whatever substance he's coming down from but deep down he knows the truth.

Even though he's in denial he's not fooling anyone else he's hovering over you 24/7. He'll tell the other guys he's just paling around with his new pal, but no one is humoring him.

I personally believe Pickles is way more chill about this type of thing... he was in a glam metal band... I don't know. So I think he would actually try to have a serious conversation with Nathan about what's going down.

Nathan isn't that receptive at first but once you're talking about going back home for real he PANICS.

Last ditch effort? Half confession.

"Listen, Nathan, I really do enjoy hanging out with you but I have a life and a job. It's a fucking miracle that I'm not fired already!" You desperately try to reason with the intimidating front man who was currently blocking your exit. Nathan begins to sweat and glances around the room in a panic. No one else was around, other than Charles who's robotic face was unreadable aside from the clenched jaw of restrained anxiety. Without even meaning to he starts blubbering.

"Yeah, well, uh," Nathan grumbles and keeps his eyes burned to the floor. "What if I uh just give you money? I mean what if I just want to pay you to be around because, I... feel sick and fucked up in my stomach when you're gone? It's totally brutal." He ends his spewl with a choked cough of feigned casualty. His true feelings were poorly masked and easy to read through the lines. Wether it was endearment or confusion in that moment you concede.

Pickles the Drummer

Like I said before, I think he has the least hang ups.

I really believe he's already a practicing bisexual and simply does not feel the need to make it a thing.

You could honestly meet anywhere but for the sake of a story, let's say a bar.

Maybe you buy him a drink with your intentions obvious and he isn't put off by it.

You end up buying him more, maybe even getting in a friendly competition as well as conversation.

You end up leaving him your number, which he saves on his phone the next morning.

Now while I think he's more chill and secure with his sexuality he still isn't flaunting it or making it a point to be known. And besides, this dude still has some commitment issues and other insecurities.

I think he would keep you around for off and on "fun" but it would take awhile for him to actually get in a real relationship with you.

But when he does, he is the best boyfriend ever.

He won't let anyone give you shit about anything that actually bothers you, not even the other guys. They can rip on him but you're off limits.

I feel kinda sad because I don't really know how to flesh this out ,,, it would just be like any normal relationship with him I fear.

He ends up unofficially hiring you as his guitar repairman. And by that I mean, he's taking all his broken guitars to you to fix with no extra pay.

Did I say Pickles has commitment issues? Because they are basically normal compared to the fucked shit Skwisgaar has. Even though your relationship is very clearly progressing and crossing many platonic boundaries he is not calling it anything.

If you try to yourself, goodluck.

That will lead to weeks of the silent treatment until he physically can't take it anymore.

He doesn't feel guilty about it all that much either even if it makes you visibly upset.

He would be sad that you're sad, but he would not feel guilt or have any sort of reflection on how his actions caused it.

He'll try to make it up to you though! Just don't expect an apology or any change.

I feel like, you would either have to be okay with your weird unspoken relationship or put him in an ultimatum that would very unlikely work in your favor. And if it does, he's still not coming out or anything the relationship is still a secret only for you two.

Toki Wartooth

Oh boy, so how do I explain this.

I'm not the biggest Toki guy, but in my opinion, Toki is confusing when it comes to his queerness.

He was raised religious so he was always told it was wrong and dirty, but he never really deeply internalized it just knew it was something that would get him in trouble. Then he goes to America and is instantly surrounded by a bunch of repressed internalized men. He would join in on casual homophobia for the sake of integrating but he never thinks too hard about what it really means.

All of this to say, when he does have a crush on you, he doesn't really register it as being weird!

He would at most think it was metal and sticking it to "god" or something.

He would casually talk very affectionate about you to the other guys, and when the unavoidable ripping happens he basically goes "nuh uh."

He's not gay he's METAL!

But yeah other than that your relationship would develop in his usual Toki way.

William Murderface

Just kidding, but also, be prepared for some intense emotional baggage.

He is the most obvious and the most repressed it's worse than Skwisgaar and Nathan combined.

I don't even think you have to particularly stick out for him to develop a crush. But if you're particularly into dark history or history in general, maybe you're particularly fond of bass, you have his heart in the palm of your hand.

He is so deeply in love but he absolutely will not allow it.

You will definitely have to be the one to initiate and chase after him and even when he (easily) gives in he's going right back to denying everything.

This isn't to say you can't coach him into acceptance I actually think it's very possible but there's going to be a lot of back sliding. Murderface is deeply insecure and craves validation and acceptance, you're going to have to make him not only feel worth your love but prove it's enough in the long run.

Which I think is possible with a gentle touch here and a sincere "I love you" there.

But it's still an uphill battle and the majority of your relationship will be stolen moments away from prying eyes.

This guy is all over the place. A complete mess if you will.

Your nightly routines consist of making sure he's in bed, first of all.

He has a tendency of just passing out wherever. It's not too awful but about once a week you're going to have to hunt him down and find him face down in his own vomit in a hallway.

Due to this his s/o will grow a subconscious habit of a night time self care routine? Of sorts?

Getting him decently clean before bed just kinda becomes a thing.

And yknow what. He appreciates it!

He loves being doted on.

I think he cuddles but not a big Spooner.

He likes laying on his partner's chest or vice versa.

It's nice listening to your heartbeat, it's soothing. And on the flipside having you lay on him is like having a weighted blanket.

While I'm not the biggest believer of the whole Skwisgaar having like a 100 step self-care routine.

I do think he has one.

Just nothing insane. He does care on a small level. But one expensive face wash with benzol peroxide and a face mask every now and then is about it.

And you are absolutely being dragged into this. He holds his self image to a high standard and you are a part of that.

Now the actual issue is getting him to bed.

Sometimes he gets too caught up in his composing and practicing he neglects some basics to self preservation.

Just gently remind him it's good for him and to his benefit and you can get him to give in without much struggle. Mostly.

Sometimes he's adverse to touch. Nothing personal it's just a lot to him sometimes.

But he always need to be facing you in bed. If anything you need to be the last thing he sees before he shuts off his mind.

Toki Wartooth

He doesn't care how, just that he needs it.

He is also a man of routine but in the sense that he has rituals.

He does things a certain way, and in a certain order.

If you follow his routine with him he'll love you until the world combusts. But he also understands if you have your own thing, just don't disrupt his.

He also can't sleep without you and it deeply upsets him if you can't.

You will have to make up for it with LOTS of cuddles later.

personal headcanon alert.

I think he has insomnia.

Due to a mix of paranoia and night terrors he does not get a lot of sleep.

He can have periodic naps during the day but that's it.

Though once he's dating someone, like, actually dating someone, he tries to fix his sleep schedule.

Going to bed with him always starts with a movie, he needs the background noise.

He'll keep it on a low volume if it bothers you, but you can not make him give up his diy asmr.

He likes holding his partner, and I think their weight helps him calm down enough to try and rest.

That does not mean it always works though. But he enjoys you being their and humoring him nonetheless.

If you curl up with him for a nap though, you basically have his hand in marriage.

Charles Offdensen

His sleep schedule is garbage, but you best believe he's making sure you get your full 9 hours.

Obviously, he won't overstep. You are an adult and capable of making decisions and taking care of yourself.

But you may notice subtle nudges if you start slacking. Say you are busy with work at home, he might persuade you to take a five-minute breather. Come lay in the bed with him. No, he did not light a lavender candle, yes, the weighted blanket is necessary, of course he's going to massage his sweetheart's shoulders, don't look too deep into it.

Of course he is a massive hypocrite, and brushes all of his partners concern off when it comes to his habits.

That does not mean he is completely unable to reason with though, especially if they're wanting to go to bed with him.

When it comes to cuddling, he is neutral on it. If it's something you want, then sure.

He is a chronic back sleeper though, so spooning is rare, but he happily offers his chest as a pillow.

I really love their specific dynamic it's something I haven't seen anywhere else. They're the two that are most incompetent and they get into shenanigans together that usually crash and burn it's so silly. They've also both been through hell and I like the idea of them healing together,, ughuhy I love them a lot they're like my favorite ship actually.

And I've actually been getting into pickleface recently! I don't have a lot of thoughts other than they're kinda funny. what Kickstarted them for me was this skwistok centric fic I read that had a sideplot drama involving a one-sided crush on Murderfaces end and it made me sooo sad I had to find fics where they were specifically together and happy. Though. There's not a lot of those actually. I should fix that *wonk*
