Anyone willing to give some input on internalized homophobia they went through (specifically lesbian/wlw experiences, but all input welcomed)?
I have an OC who's deep in denial of liking women and very much has internalized homophobia that I kinda want to represent through horror (I'm heavily leaning towards nightmares and irrational fears of being eaten by the love interest). I've personally never experienced internalized homophobia so some input on people who have would be really neat!

Anyways, did anyone else start to think Jax was slightly trans coded during his flash back scene with ribbit or was it just me 😔
Just me? Alrighty, I'll walk myself out I guess.
No idea if I just lack media literacy with the tadc ending or if I blinked and missed a whole bunch, but that ending was like... confusing.
They didn't explore how Jax abstracted, but they did like a beautiful job exploring him after abstracting, but then that's it. A flash bang that just spawned in, him exploding into light, then "well worth through this together!" As they put him in a tent. What the fuck happened there 😭
The part with Cain was nice, but why did we not explore how he isn't deleted and just exiled? And what was him letting go of that blue orb in him which I presume is Abel? Like how did that benefit the story other than making him stable???
And then the actual ending. 10 second explanation of their life outside the circus. I'm like so confused, aren't they all hooked up to machines or something? Did Cain just download their subconscious/what he perceives them as from their social media post/articles and put it into his program? Damn I think that's actually what he did. He just made personas of each person meaning none of them are actually alive or real, just zeros and ones.
But what about the company?? What even are abstractions? IM LIKE SO CONFUSED.
Tldr: tadc ending is confusing me, someone explain it to me like I'm a child
Lord I need a loz Link fanfic where the reader is just some farmer and Link occasionally comes around and they both are in love with each other but they can't tell one another since they both have their duties, someones duty way more larger than the other, and it's cute and fluffy and there's so much yearning and care.
And maybe Link always makes excuses to be at the farm. "Epona needs maintenance! Her hooves are too long!" "Well I was in the area and I could really use a pick me up of lon lon milk!" "Well I heard from the gorons that they haven't been getting their supplies of lon lon milk, ( you know, I didn't even know gorons liked lon lon milk), and apparently bandits have been stealing your supplies during distribution runs! So maybe I can help with your next supply run?"
And maybe even the farmer makes excuses for Link to stay long. "Would you mind breaking in this new horse we have?" "I really do hate to ask, but I hurt my back the other day. Is there any way you can help bring these hay bales over to the farm?" "Dinner should be cooked soon. Really, you should stay and eat with us...maybe even stay the night? If you want of course! I just imagine fighting back Ganons evil force gets tiring and I doubt you sleep in a bed all that often. It could be nice..."
And maybe Link enjoys getting to relive the normalcy of life again. His world gets reduced to that bubble of farm life and he doesn't have to stress about saving Hyrule from an overbearing darkness over his shoulders and clouding his every thought. He just gets to rest with his farmer...
Throw back to when I made a really popular "driving with my darling" ticci toby animation and half of the comments were filled with people saying "well actually ticci toby can't drive due to his tourettes" and "xyz should have been added."
I have yet to reach peak like that

I thought walking through raccoon city in re9 would be a fun little throw back. Something like, "oh wow! I remember lickers being here! Haha, I would loop Mr. X here!" But instead I was just hit with the most gut punching sadness. I'm no longer that kid terrified of the stomping feet coming from the halls. I'm no longer the kid who would camp in the west office throwing everything I could at the lickers in that hall. I'm no longer 12 thinking this was the best game created and constantly escaping into it.
Now I'm just 20.
I was hit with such intense nostalgia of a better time that I just started crying as I walked through the halls. I love this series so much, I spent so much money on it, invested so much time in every game, it inspired my life and pulled me out of such rough times.
And now I'm back a decade later in the same place where my love for this franchise started, and I'm sobbing. I'm 20 now.
