The Hippie Trend

As any learned fashionista knows, the hippie trend is not something recent. It started back in the 60s when all those fabulous revolutions were going on and the history of pop culture as we know it was being molded into something so original and beautiful that today seems like a boring era of overused, continuously recycled ideas… and utter unoriginality. But to get to the point of this article… do you think the hippie trend is something that should definitely be revived in this day and age? The trend is already starting to come back, as the round John Lennon style glasses and bohemian style clothes and jewelry are all the rage right now. Ooh, and not to forget the headbands. Ah, the fabulous headbands. In my opinion, the hippie trend is something completely timeless that will never get old. And it’s not only the fashion I admire. It’s the positive, upbeat, earthy attitude of the whole movement. I just love the focus on peace and optimism. It’s fantastic. But anyway, I shall let you take a look at some photos of fabulous hippie outfits and let you decide what you think of this fantastic trend.
