Fate of the Followers Ask Series:

"Okay...here we go...and START!"

"Here we are!" Quinn declared, holding up the camera to himself.

"Hello there, viewers! It's been since my last observation recording, but this time is special since we're not observing plant phenomon anymore, but instead, we are urban exploring."

"Uh...Yarnball?"

"Who are you talking to? Is that a camera?" Lavender questioned.

"Why yes, Lav, I'm recording this..."

"Is that really necessary? Especially HERE of all places?"

"It's good documentation. It even has a live screen feature."

"Live screen feature?"

"Oh! Like a live stream or a reality TV show!" Flower realized.

"Yep! Say hi to the camera, you two!"

Lavender didn't entertain Yarnball's idea, but Flower did, holding up a peace sign.

"So, Lav, explain to the dear viewers what we're exploring."

Lavender paused for a moment before sighing,

"We-- I got a mysterious letter that supposedly came from here. It talked about how the missing employees were still here even after a decade...which I doubt..."

"That is CORRRRECCT! Flower and I were there when the letter came, so we both got the idea of checking out the old factory."

"These two idiots made me come as well..."

"Why not come back, Lavender?" Flower asked. "It could bring back old memories. Remember Playcare? It was a fun place...even if the underground part was...concerning."

"How can I not remember Playcare...?" Lav mumbled. He looks clearly bothered by the idea of coming back, but he doesn't say anything.

"Are we sure Playtime Co. followed legality in that place? I'm pretty sure you shouldn't be able to chuck orphans underground and call it an orphanage."

"Based on what I remember, it was established for a while by Elliot Ludwig. It just continued since his passing," Quinn recalled.

"..."

"Well, are we all heading in or not? There's no point in this recording if we don't at least check it out," Quinn persuaded.

However, Flower's focus was on someone else.

"Are you good, Lavender?" Flower asked.

"..."

"I'm good...yeah...let's check it out. Maybe we'll find something interesting. You all have the bag, right, Flower?"

"Mhm. Just as you said," Flower nodded. "Medical supplies, flashlights, pepper spray, food, and the rest..."

"Alright then, let's just stick together. The factory is huge, it's best if you don't get lost..." Lavender advised.

"Aye aye, Captain!" Quinn laughed.

He then turns toward the screen,

"Now then, we'll see you in the inside. Peace!"

Yep, so the votes have been set, and it turns out a decent bit of you truly want an ask series...so here it is.

Of course, let's establish some rules and information:

Lavender = Theodore Grambell/Catnap, Yarnball = Quinn Navidson/Yarnaby, and Flower = Kissy Missy

Most asks will be written in text instead of a drawing. This is because if I did a drawing for every ask, I would be burnt out by ask number ten. In a sense, it will be like an actual written story.

You could ask questions, give advice, and provide comments. Most likely (unless things change and I want to spice it up), you cannot provide physical support or interaction with the scenery or characters (you could provide images like memes if you really want to). The camera will initially be from Quinn's recording camera, but it will soon change as the Doctor will gain access to the asks...since, of course, he will. This allows POV's to switch even if the characters are split. But most of the footage will be from Quinn's camera.

I'm not sure how far I will go, but I will try to reach as far as I can before it's either put in hiatus or I quit the ask series. Just know, it won't be forever.

I will try to answer as many questions as I can.

General/OOC asks sent to me, like art requests, questions, etc., are still open. I will still interact. This also includes other general pieces of artwork/posts.

My Version of Human Flare

For Flare, I figured he’d look far more shy and adorable, but when he goes berserk, his hair starts flowing upward like fire, and he loses that former innocent look.

He wanted to have a scarf like Speed, so Speed got him his own which he always wears as it’s comforting for him(represents the fluff around a Flareon’s neck).

Flare’s hobby of gardening makes him constantly wear gloves whenever he works on flowers or berries.

what's the biggest missed opportunities in Eeveelution Squad for you? For me it's Speed's past, the war, championship and anything else showed as Speed's time as a rescuer or Champion and I'm still lost on what Champions are in ES, I also think it was a miss to not give more screentime to past Speed around SC1 and I think it was annoying that besides only a few pages Speed and his siblings never hanged out like you made this guy raise his family since he hatched and instead of showing the downsides of him growing up too fast for them, Crystal just abuses him and that's it! Speed could have and should have been such a good character and I hate how Flare and side charcters like Pearl's familie took screentime away from that. Like I love Brain and all but who actually gave a shit about his and Blaze's relationship in Chapter 11?

I'd prefer not to spend an entire post listing every flaw or missed opportunity I can come up with for the comic (we don't want to repeat what happened that made the creator want to end his own comic in the first place). However, I do agree that some missed opportunities could've helped if they had been expanded on or used alternatively.

Starting from some of the things you've stated:

Speed's past: I think it would've been fun if the main character had the initial outer look of being a simple, dense Jolteon, as he seems to be in Chapter One. But over time, the readers and the other squad members slowly start questioning the Jolteon and his past as his siblings, even when not knowing too much, reveal some things they've seen or heard from their big brother. Heck, this could even lead to a cleaner transition to the more serious lore as the more you learn about the main protagonist, the deeper and more complex things get. He'd be like a protagonist who chooses to not share stuff since he truly just wants to leave it all behind for a peaceful life.

Speed's family dynamic: Yeah....there could definitely have been more scenes with Kris and Flare and their dynamic and bond with Speed. Speed wasn't just their older brother, but he was their parent and protected them. This could then add to their character and how their past shapes how they are with the rest of the squad. Case in point:

-- Speed would be someone who would try to be the most responsible and parental of the entire squad. He had lived his entire life without having the chance to be a kid, since from the start, he had to take care of Flare, Kris, and later be an actual father(without ever having one of his own to base it off of) to Sunshine.

-- Flare could be overreliant on Speed. Speed was the only figure he could ever turn to his entire life, and now with a new environment he isn't used to, with other Eeveelutions, Flare would struggle to open up to any of them since they aren't his older brother.

-- Kris would be an interesting case. I think it'd be fitting if her joyfulness and constant teasing were her way to help her brother. By putting up a more childish front, she would try to make Speed have more fun now since he never got to. If anything, her nudging Speed toward a relationship could be less about her own ships coming true, but rather Kris just wanting Speed to focus on himself and his wants, such as finding others to spend time with. In this case, she'd be more aware of what's going on in Speed's jobs later on and would hide it away from Flare, so he doesn't have to worry.

Obviously, there could be more detail, but I hope you get what I mean.

Vacation Section: I think that's just the case of cramming in too many characters to the point you couldn't really let all of them shine, especially with the families of other members of the squad. I think it would've been better if the chapters before had made room to bring in development and an introduction to the entire squad before moving on to the families, and even then, it would have to relate to the squad members specifically instead of overly focusing on the parents.

For Other Opportunities that were missed(like I said, I'm not listing them all):

Pearl's mind-reading: Pearl reading minds would've made a cool chapter, as we could get to see her perspective, dreams, and views of the other members, given that she could know their thoughts. Granted, she does try not to look through others' heads, but she had mentioned that sometimes she still reads certain thoughts accidentally. I think this would've worked in Chapter 2, 3 or even 4, as the readers would be able to get brief information on how Pearl found each of them, why they're here(the dream), what each member usually thinks about or what each member wants, and later expand on that with their respective perspectives in future chapters. It would even show her more mature, motherly side, as we see later, instead of the yandere Pearl we had at the start.

The Berserk virus: I honestly think it would work better if the entire squad had some involvement, encounter, or past with the virus. I was quite surprised when I saw 80% chilling and ignorant of it all while 20% (Speed and Flare) had their own plot completely away from the vacation, without anyone knowing. If, let's say, during the vacation, a tragedy struck involving the berserk virus, then this would lead to more questions regarding Speed's past, as I mentioned before. Speed would be forced to reveal things and realize that, even if he wants to live peacefully, he can't simply just neglect it all ever existing.

Ultra Instinct: Not going to lie, Speed having something similar to Ultra Instinct, as explained in Chapter 5(where he actually dodges for once), at the very start would've turned Speed abuse into attempted Speed abuse. It'd be actually funny seeing Speed just casually dodge every hit without trying, hinting that he's far stronger than he makes others believe. Lazuli would complain, and Speed would apologize...and then dodge another punch. Not saying it justifies Speed abuse, but I think it would be better if it was ATTEMPTED Speed abuse(with constant failure) than Speed ending up in bandages again and again.

Luckily, there's a thing called fanfics, where we could apply changes that we think work better than the original story. Who knows. Maybe others also want said changes, too.

Nevertheless, these were things I could come up with right now. I could come up with more, but... nah.

So I need to ask, what was Lazuli's plan? Her wholeSpeed: okay no I have to ask this, Everyone knows she have a crush on Speed, so what the fuck was she thinking with the idea of abusing him and pretending to hate him? Like how would that help her at all? Seriously what the hell would Lazuli do if- no when Speed date someone that isn't her and stay away from her...?! Her plan was fucking herself over and in Chapter 5 her reaction was to abuse Speed when Silvia said she was Speed's "boyfriend" so she didn't even think shit through! Also P.S I don't think it was ever estabilshed that Black, Flare and Pearl knew about Lazuli's crush and I find it funny if they just never knew.

Given from the Q&A, Lazuli did state that she knows that it's wrong, but she finds it the "only" way to get his attention.....

.....Yeah. She ain't the brightest.

For the others, knowing or not knowing? Although it would be funny for them to not even know about Lazuli's crush, I think the whole point of it is that Speed, unlike everyone else supposedly, is too dense to see that Lazuli actually loves him(even though Speed's conclusion of that not being the case makes complete sense if you purely look at action instead of what Lazuli is thinking or what the comic wants you to think).

I'm going to be honest Flare X Leaf is fucking mid! I never liked their relationship and thought they worked well as friends, what is an ES Ship you hate?

I do agree that they lack anything….well…noteworthy. Personally, I think there was some wholesome moments, but that was sort of it. They liked each other(Leaf mainly interacted with Flare or Lazuli anyway), both were nice, and both got together without much complication. Funny enough, I wonder if it has an opposite problem to the controversial and crazy relationship that Speed goes through. While that has a whole lot of things to pick apart, Flare and Leaf’s relationship is mid(as in LITERALLY mediocre) because it felt like there was nothing in it.

I think it could’ve worked well if there was more interactions and complexity shown within the characters(same goes for nearly every other character). It also would’ve been interesting if it tied to Lazuli and Speed and the fact that Lazuli had a habit of physically hurting Speed. This could be an easy conflict to establish between Flare and Leaf that they would have to work out as they help with whatever is going on between Lazuli and Speed.

I will never forget the panel where they casually comment on how he doesn’t normally dodge, implying they were aware and were kind to just chilling while Speed was getting repeatedly beat up by Lazuli…Like…bruh…..

For a ship that I hate. I wouldn’t say I hate any. I just think some are more problematic and I get surprised when people genuinely support the relationship(the obvious….Speed x Lazuli and Speed x Silvia. Granted, some scene were genuinely angering me for a bit). But, they could do and praise what they want as long as it doesn’t go too far…or too weird(believe me…there is some weird stuff).

Human Avis — Peace and Its Shadow

So, I wondered what a human version of Avis would look like, and I came up with this.

Some details:

-- Human Rainwings often have a large range of hair color(s). Most stick with their base colors (for example, Glory's hair is green and dark blue), while Rainwings like Avis have all the colors. Avis in PAIS is very expressive and constantly changes his Rainwing scales, so he has no exact base color to go off of.

-- Speaking of hair, I imagine Avis to have long hair. I ended up going a bit spiky in his hair, similar to Douma from Demon Slayer.

-- His outfit shows a lax professionalism, keeping an open collar while he has camouflaged pants to match his being a Rainwing and his quirk of often staying hidden. His boots are long boots for mud, rain, and the general environment of the rainforest.

-- He usually likes putting his hands in his pockets. It's based on Sans, the judge of the underground, who keeps a composed yet observant perspective of the protagonist/player. They both make themselves appear less threatening or serious until needed.

-- Avis often carries around an umbrella no matter where he goes. It's a habit from the rainforest, and it usually makes him look more mysterious whenever he walks up to you with it held above his head. So, you might be asking how he holds the umbrella with his hands in his pockets. Good question.

-- I gave Avis a devil's tail. It's based on the idea of the devil being nice and polite, where you don't even expect him, of all people, to be a threat or to be scary. Avis keeps a dark side to him as his true nature of curiosity and judgement starts to show. So, when he's really serious, you'll know why he's like the devil.

-- It's funny, really. This devil doesn't lie....yet he keeps so many secrets. He's a locked chest of knowledge that not even the queen fully grasps what he does or doesn't know. After all, he's simply the messenger for her.

So I'm writing this ES story on who I think should of been the main characters of Chapter 3 and 4 [Chapter 3 will be called "Behind Green Eyes" and star Leaf as the main character who's getting to know Speed better, the ending with Lazuli saying "Maybe I should be nicer to him" will stay the same but she actually does become nicer to Speed and Chapter 4 would be a Lazuli story buliding up their relationship with no Silvia, because she already had Chapter 2 she doesn't need more screentime, the whole ending with Speed getting crushed by Gas never happens because he's out all night with Lazuli] Leaf and Speed talks about their relationship and when Leaf says she likes Flare, Speed will say "He's a great guy, I see why you like him..." Lazuli would come along to check if Leaf's okay and found out that she was wrong about Speed which will open up for her to being nice to him. P.S I hate how it took us Chapter 8 to see why Lazuli likes Speed, should of been Chapter 4 and had her feelings show up after Speed and her had a good time. What do you think?

That definitely fits. We would have Leaf's POV sooner with actual development in the relationship and her perspective of other characters such as Speed and Flare before we move on to Lazuli and showcase what she actually likes about Speed instead of it simply turning into a sudden crush that is explained far later.

Lazuli actually doing the reasonable change she suggested to herself is a plus.

"What are our favorite foods and genres of movies?" Quinn questioned. He thought about it for a moment before answering. "Well...I would say I like Sci-fi, especially with aliens and machines. One of my favorites was 'Robocop.'"

"Ugh...I struggled to handle that..." Flower recalled.

"You really have a weak stomach, huh. It was just some lungs."

"Yeah, and 90% of the body being GONE," Flower argued. "I prefer drama, sometimes with a touch of romance like 'Drive Me Crazy.' Oh! I really liked 'Titanic.'"

"You could handle all of those people dying, yet you can't handle Robocop?" Quinn questioned.

"Shut up! Titanic is sad and beautiful and romantic--"

"And had a lot of deaths..." Lav agreed. "It is a tragedy still." Flower just huffed when Lavender agreed with Yarnball. "Anyway, for me, I guess I like horror movies, especially the slasher films."

"Some of the characters are so stupid though..."

"Are we any smarter coming here?" Lav raised a brow. Quinn rolled his eyes. "I like 'Friday the 13th' and 'Nightmare on Elm Street.' Besides that...I've started getting into the more noir setting. I really liked 'Seven.' That ending was brutal."

"I hated that ending..." Flower muttered. Still, she had a lot of fun hanging with Lavender. It was sad that Quinn couldn't come on that day, but she'd be lying if she said that spending time with Lav alone wasn't quite nice.

"ANYWAY, for foods? I don't have any. I just eat anything on my plate, especially if it's something that Lav cooks," Quinn shrugged. In reality, Quinn has the worst eating habits of the trio. Due to how busy he usually is with studies, Quinn finds himself eating a LOT of instant noodles in the morning. Luckily, he hadn't broken his microwave yet. "What about you two?"

"I agree with you there. He's a master in the kitchen," Flower nodded. "Otherwise, I really like pasta. Any kind is pretty good. I actually started getting into more of it because of Lav."

Lavender felt a little embarrassed by the compliments. He didn't think he was that good at it; he simply learned from Mr Butcher(he was always really good, no matter the type of meat). Since then, whenever Lav got bored, he simply tried another recipe or a different type. Maybe he just had higher standards for making food than others?

"Admittedly, I have a...sweet tooth, which probably isn't good with my caffeine addiction (or with my smoking)," Lavender revealed. "I enjoy baked treats like muffins, especially with chocolate chips. Anything else is fine, though. I'm not that picky unless I make it." This shocked the other two.

"Wait, so THAT'S why you always have some sweets whenever I'm at your house. I thought you just bought them for whenever we get together at your place," Quinn realized. "You don't normally eat them when we're around. Hell, sometimes you just decline it when we offer some to you."

(It's because I don't like getting handed stuff...for free)

"Still...I kind of enjoy anything. Usually, I don't have time to make something before I go to work. My sleep schedule is terrible....But I still like the occasional beef and pork when I have the time to cook it right. Generally, I start off the morning with Cheerios," Lavender answered.

"Please tell me you add the milk after..." Quinn prayed.

Lavender looked confused.

"Doesn't....everyone do that?"

"Does the order of it really matter that much?" Flower asked.

"Yes. It does. It matters a lot. There's a proper way to do it," Quinn nodded profusely.

The group then continued to argue with each other if it really mattered that much about the order of things. Someone else began to watch thoroughly, sort of missing the past when they had a regular human body.

It didn't matter anymore. Those typical human desires are far beneath them.

so for my ES game, I'm making a choice where you can meet Lazuli and Leaf way earlier back in Golden Age and I came up with the story of Lazuli's life when that it changes it begins with Lazuli's Pov btw

*It was a boring day as my little sister and I came back home, we found our mother Lapis the Vaporeon, dead on the ground. We screamed out "Mommy!" And than our father Alfred the Arcanine came in, looking shocked. I spoke up, tears bursting down my cheeks.* "D-daddy, mommy isn't breathing..." *And than our absolute prick of a father asked.* Alfred the Arcanine: "What did you do...?" *I told him that we did nothing and he said get out. Leaf and I were scared and I said.* "Daddy...?" *He than said as he bitch slapped me into a closet.* Alfred the Arcanine: "GET THE HELL OUT OF HERE!!!" *Leaf grabbed me as our dad said something that stuck in my mind forever. "IF I EVER SEE YOU TWO AGAIN, I'LL BURN YOU TO ASHES! SO GET OUT!!" With that Leaf and I left and had been living in the same cave we used to play Hide and Seek in. 6 years had passed and Leaf and I were getting barries, we had a chat about a mountin where it was all snowie while the other side was normal, we plantted more apple trees and than later that night I left to check out the mountin. After I got there, I met a Beartic, he tried clawing at me and I fell off the mountin. When I came to, I saw an Ice Stone and became a Glaceon, at morning I found Leaf and told her the news. As I was explaining it, I saw something in the bushes, as I pulled it out, I saw a Jolteon in some high tech armor, he was covered in blood. Leaf and I waited to he woke up to tell us who he was, a few hours later we broke apart his damaged armor and used it as a generator and the other parts as plate for our food. Leaf and I were planting some barries, Leaf touched a mossy rock covered in Leaf Stones and became a Leafeon, that's the evolution our mother wanted her to be. We came back home and spot the Jolteon finally coming to it. I couldn't help but notice how beautiful his eyes were, his right eye was Electric Blue while his left eye was Violet Purple, he told Leaf and I that his name is Speed the Jolteon, I spoke up as I crossed my arms.* "Alright wise guy, you better tell us why you're here or else...!"

Little charges from the canon are that the Ice Rock and Mossy Rocks are now covered in their Evolution stones and Speed's eye color are difierent, in order to get Lazuli to trust you and her and Leaf to come home with you is to beat the Beartic and get Lazuli her scarf back, in game Chapter 1 would be completely difierent if you play your cards right. So what do you think?

So, it's like a Choose Your Adventure-like game?

Sounds interesting, and I imagine an open world where you could technically encounter each of the members before Chapter One as long as you know their locations. You could even potentially save Frost, meet with Star/Stella and Pearl, save Flare from being a Flareon, or go completely on your own route.

I imagine that by Chapter One, dynamics would be different.

So I got a theory about why Speed was so weak in Chapter 1, we never see Poké Centers or any place the rescuers/everymon would heal up at, so maybe Speed was still under the effects of Sand Attack or moves that lower his speed, infact it does explain why he never dodged because his speed must be low and his HP must of already been or Red or Yellow which makes aleady tons of sense since it's never shown that he or anymon besides Pearl had Oran Berries. Still hate Lazuli for her overreaction in chapter 1 though, I mean she insulted him and you don't see him hurting her, even though I wish that happened.

That would be a creative explanation when applying Pokémon game logic.

I am willing to argue that mons are able to gradually regenerate their HP, and effects wear off after long enough time. That is why some characters are simply told to get some rest, as that might literally heal them from damage(not saying resting will regenerate a missing arm, but you know what I mean).

Human Darkstalker

I got bored, so...I decided to draw a human version of Darkstalker.

I tried focusing on the idea that Darkstalker would be considered handsome and charismatic, similar to how he enchanted himself to be in the Legends book. He is not evil when you first look at him or even when you first meet him. He is a charmer who is able to please the crowd, and it's only when his true motives come out that you realise that he...uh...doesn't have the greatest of intentions.

So, I decided to design his human version based on the idea of looks, charm, and being a monarch.

After spending two thousand years asleep, he had incredibly long hair, so he managed to cut most of it off(still keeping it long), along with his long beard, which he didn't like. His hair, along with his vest, has a white streak to match the one he has in canon due to his father being an Icewing.

While he usually is portrayed with blue for blue blood(Icewings) or red, I wanted to design him with more purple since it's the middle ground between red and blue(Nightwing and Icewing), along with his black and white attire.

As a last addition, I added the three red moons that he wears as a necklace. The three moons are his after all.
