If you ever feel like your unattractive, unlovable, or just undesirable in general let me tell you something.
I was out and about at a school event with my friends and otherwise suffering, when I noticed someone. Of course, I didn’t notice them at first when they walked into the room, sat down about two feet away from me, but when they spoke it was like angels singing. When I heard them first talk, to introduce themselves, I was flabbergasted and my eyes instantly snapped towards them.
It was easy to see why I didn’t notice them at first, they didn’t look like too much, short silky brown hair, tall thin frame, sharp facial features, but after they said their name and caught my attention, I couldn’t look away. I tried to concentrate on whatever the person at the head of the room was saying, but my eyes would always wander back to that person. They never noticed me looking, but I sure as hell noticed them.
Then when our groups separated I would catch glances of the other group and my eyes would instantly lock onto the person. They didn’t notice then and instead looked around at their surroundings with a casual curiosity. I instantly loved those eyes, they looked intelligent, curious, smart.
Later in the auditorium, I noticed they didn’t sit with anyone and I was confused. How could someone like them, not have friends with them? During the continuation of the event my eyes always Locked onto them.
You may feel terrible, worthless, unlovable, and no one may ever talk to you, but it could be because you’re too beautiful and amazing and intimidating (like the person in this story). Or maybe someone has been or is staring at you with a dreamy look and you just never noticed, maybe whole crowds have and you just haven’t been paying attention.
So next time you’re in public alone, feeling like shit, remember this, remember that it is possible that people have been noticing how amazingly beautiful you are and just haven’t had the guts to tell you.
