Pigeon Watch

Hi, I'm Miles! I'm an incredibly amateur photographer with a (really cheap) smartphone. I'm also pretty unfamiliar with Tumblr, so I probably make lots of mistakes. Regardless, my commute lets me see a lot of pigeons. Most of the posts will be about them, but I might post other birds if I see them. I hope you enjoy!

Geez, it’s been a little while since the last Pigeon Watch, huh? Looks like it’s gonna be another PHOTO DUMP (Part 1 of ?) I’m in the middle of transitioning to my new phone, and some of these photos are from said new phone, so maybe that somewhat accounts for the bad schedule? In any case, stay tuned!

Pigeon Watch Update

Hey Pigeon Watch fans! (I know there’s like, a million of you :P) Unfortunately, the bus schedule for today was wonky, so I didn’t have my usual time at the transfer station to do this evening’s Pigeon Watch. Hang in there for Thursday, and if all goes well, we’ll be back on track! Thanks!

Here’s the last few images from this morning! These aren’t strictly from the bus stop, but I saw some birdos on my way, so I snapped a few pictures. Here we have... 1. A vigilante seagull watching the streets 2. A couple of potential lovebirds? 3. Another seagull on a tall post. For some reason, all these seagulls in watchful positions make me think that Gondor could’ve just used birds as an alarm system. 4. Hello again! Here’s part 1 of this morning’s Pigeon Watch! I took lots of pictures, and I even have a little bit of a story? Well anyway, today we have...

1. Long distance seagull, ruling the roost 2. All the pigeons from the bus stop hanging out on a wire 3. A precious pigeon just chilling in the gutter 4. Another pigeon standing on the roof of the station 5. A pigeon contemplating a snack (that I provided) 6. A pigeon eating a snack 7. Another pigeon deciding whether this lil’ cracker is a trap or not 8. A pigeon chilling near a curb 9. A Pigeon who looks quite puffed-up and regal on the roof 10. Cleaning timmmeeeeee As for the story, I remembered that I brought those little rice crackers in my bag, so the little borbs got fed today. I didn’t get to feed them for long though, since a little goblin child chased most of them off. If you somehow see this, small child, I’m gonna fight you next time I see you. I didn’t include a picture of the goblin creature for obvious reasons, mostly because I don’t want to be arrested.
