Dreamland: overarching story, not very episodic; hard to follow if u havent seen every ep. Like a long movie

Danger Island: less dependant on overall continuity but w an overarching goal (obtaining the idol)

1999: the episodes have almost no bearing on each other, there is no story to the season overall. EXTREMELY villain of the week, literally

Also theyre all working weird different jobs in s8 but then in s10 they're working as a team n doing close to their usual jobs.....even over the course of the season, ray goes from inept to his usual tiny gun-weilding, crisis vest-ing self....
