These are reworks of old drawings I did a few years ago. Im proud of them. I like the contrast I got into them but I’d like to get it a little cleaner. This will (probably) be the last spam post I’ll make. Next will be art that I’m in the process of making right now(new character designs so they’ll be a little more fun) theyll be up in a few days… or weeks..

Dragonfruit

This drawing shows how I’m much better with realism (the fruit) and I struggle much more with creating simple stylized characters (the little guy). Some of my favorite artists have very simple recognizable styles. I’m drawn to their work and I’d like to push myself to be able to be more simplistic. I think it shows deep understanding of form if you’re able to draw it consistently in a recognizable style. I stopped drawing for a few years and I feel like I have been stagnant since high school. This is something I’m doing to keep pushing myself as an artist to keep growing and making art as an adult. I know it’s okay just to make art to have fun and to express yourself!!
