Life
One thing I am learning is to celebrate, share, post, be open about what you are planning with friends. I love surprises as much as the next person, but I never would want a friend to not be invited to my wedding, a person to feel like they were slighted out of me getting my new car, or if I was hospitalized from an accident. Secrets to the grave are just that. No one will know if you don’t tell them or ask them.Â
Peace to all in 2021-2022. It has been 10 years since I graduate college. Let’s cherish each minute of the next ten.

Wonder if I can help others find connection. Of course we find acquaintances here and there but I”m talking about that feeling when someone is a just what I need. A guide. A shoulder to cry on. A health prof. I think love is something that we are creating from ourselves instead of finding in someone else. And so, can we be better creators help? Can someone help me in this before I help others. What would it tke?
Saw Bruno on the big screen. And right before my eyes! I loved his antics and of course the movie he stars in, Death Wish. Looking for a sequel! Enjoy the movie folks, I look forward to hearing all about it =) Lots of differences between this thriller and Die Hard, but the biggest one was the comedy.Â

With this weekend over, it’s been a long ride. Moved into my new apartment this week, but it feels branded, almost as if it was another thing on a checklist. College. Yes. Learning chinese, yes. Going to Asia for family, yes. Job, yes. Buying an apartment, yes. Please God, make the rest of my life unscripted so that when you provide the subsistence for me, I feel loved as opposed to another thing on a checklist. Thank you.

So I was surfing the web for comparisons of New York’s boroughs to other cities, notably Dallas and LA. No one website so far compared Bronx to Compton or Brooklyn to Anaheim. Having traveled to the left coast a few times, I’m going to make an attempt at LA first, taking into account relative cost of living, ethnicity, industry and beaches.Â
Let’s start with the forgotten borough, Staten Island. Even in Sandy, it was last to receive any sympathy even though the hurricane/trop storm hit it hardest. Homes were flooded and neighborhoods were destroyed. It reminds me of Manhattan Beach (won’t say Anaheim, cuz its kind of part of the LA/Orange county area but not really.) HH is also far and not part of LA (at least from what I know)
Bronx serious just bleeds Compton all over. Hip hop, R/B, rap grew here. Lots of diverse ethnicity and poverty, as well as good areas near highways. It’s far from a lotta places but isn’t too out of the way (read: Staten Island).
Queens is most likely Inglewood and Mid-City (geographic-wise not connected, but they go together). Residentially of course Mid-City, more homes and smaller businesses. The commercial side would be Inglewood. It’s got its own airport, stretches to meet the city but is a coastline. Nice but not the best. NIce and not densely populated area. Lots of people live there though and is an alternative to all those expensive areas, up and coming though. Stadiums such as that for the Rams/Chargers will be there.
Brooklyn is comparable to Silver Lake, but would extend to Hollywood because of the famous Brooklyn Bridge and iconic sites throughout the borough. I know it aint’ as pretty but come on. Rising prices, close to the city proper, nice but not crazy nice. Hipsters and artists! Easy to get to, not too much traffic from the airport (at least outer ones)
And of course Manhattan. Traffic downtown LA, upscale living in Beverly hills. cultural scene in Westwood and why, not, let’s include Manhattan beach. Beautiful, businessy, lovely and dense. While rich. I like the comparison in that it is rather small and concentrated but very accessible.Â
And there you go, one to one (or four) comparisons for NYC and LA. Let me know  your comments below
Almost lost this post... gasp!
wrote this log then swiped a bit to the rift and thought I lost it. Got it back, enjoy! On a typical day, there are moments I just don't know what to do. For example, today I just broke down after not knowing how to respond to silence. My pet peeve set in... Moments of pure time-wasting silence, obvious need to go do something but simple, complete utter silence. I simply become agitated or make fun of myself and then just ball. At first I thought it was others' fault for being douchey, then my own for being prideful. At the end I settled with this: time is the scapegoat. I wait for people when they're late and vice versa. Life is limited. One minute too slow and a moment is ruined. We long for others' opinions but it takes a while to get there. The future is in a matter of time that we cannot predict so people get frustrated, angry. But there are times in which time-passing silence can be good. And I need to remember and cherish the memories of being on a train with nature passing me by, or the gaze of a pretty person, or the life that we are living to strive for something. Or this time of writing. Only through this perspective can I really truly appreciate silence.
I just realized I act just like zendaya's character in Spider-Man Homecoming in real life... that's why I hated her so much during the movie!!
