After much thought, I realized that I don't actually like the idea of Ratchet and Arcee getting together at all

I'm not saying this as a feminist take or anything like that, but just as a personal preference; I wanted one of the only important femmes in the plot to not have a romance with any of the main bots

The problem with Ratchcee being a thing in TFA is them not being able to develop an actual meaningful bound

Like they met amidst of a battle, got caught by Lockdown, Arcee went amnesiac and got stuck unconscious in a secret location like a woman in the fridge

Don’t know if the pair would have actually built-up in the planned following but with what we were left, I find it not enough to make a satisfying relationship
