The Singularity
When we all achieve peace and harmony.
Looking at the state of the world, trends in business and technology. Access to anything, be it information or materials, is becoming easier, less steps are required, and cheaper or free. The abundance of either is allowing people freedom to explore and create, underdeveloped countries are being aided by the abundance the developed world holds.
I see the future of a developed world as harnessing all the energy at the most efficient rate, the sharing/gig economy easing economic woes by giving people opportunities to explore careers they find purpose in, people as one. 3D printing finally shifts the means of production to everyone, as did the printing press and by extension the internet did for speech and the transfer of ideas, through computer generations in digital creation such as graphic design.
