I need a priest.
Got a pet Aron! He's a fatass, I love him
He won't stop trying to eat the various rocks I have though
Might have to train him to only eat certain rocks
I am in danger.
He wont fucking move because he found a Wimpod.
Hello! This is a blog for my Scraggy Pluto, he's a silly boy. We take walks together a lot, so I'll be posting pictures of Pokemon we find every now and again! I hope you like our blog.
Before you ask, yes, he did headbutt me after I took this picture.
Scary and intrigueing Concept: Going on a Walk without your PokƩmon
first request pic! it seems i've stumbled into a bad part of town... i hope the ghost-types here are friendly..! j-just try to not make eye contact-
got an extremely round bounsweet at the shelter today and my husband keeps photoshopping her into basketball stock photos
How is everyone doing this evening?
Has everyone given their pokemon pets and a kissie?
Heck yeah Charizardās BBQ
Summer form Sawsbuck season!
"I want to challenge the league but I only want to train x kind of pokemon"
Then do it. It'll be harder for sure, but you can do it.
"I want to be a pokemon trainer and travel the world but I'm an older person"
Then do it. it's never too late to pick up pokemon training, you're never to old to learn a new skill.
"I want to go on my Pokemon journey but I have a disability"
You can still do it. It'll be different, and in many cases harder, but it can be done- hell, your pokemon might even be able to help you.
"I want to go on a Pokemon journey but I don't want to go alone."
Then bring friends with you- or make friends. There's groups now on swablusky I saw just the other day for matching up with other trainers in your experience range to travel together.
"I want to go on a Pokemon journey but I don't have a rival."
You don't need one. If you have that kind of self-motivation to carry yourself further, you don't NEED a rival.
Pokemon training, pokemon journeys, pokemon contests, all of these things are for everyone. Your experience might be different or harder or strange to someone else. But that doesn't mean it's any less than anyone else's. If you're thinking about taking that step into the world of pokemon companionship? Do it. This is your sign to give it a try.
I'm rooting for you. š
Buddy?
Buddy thatās. Thatās not where you go Iām afraid
Hello Charlie, writing in from Unova here. My kid saw an axew on tv recently and has become absolutely enamored with them. Heās too young for a PokĆ©mon, but Iām already trying to gently handle questions about hypothetically getting one. Dragon types are tough, especially a line like Haxorus. So far Iāve gotten him a plushie, which he takes with him everywhere.
Do you have any fun facts I can share with him about the line? He seems to want to know anything and everything about dragon types these days. Your blog mentioned that you were certified I believe, would you mind sharing a little about that too? While I hope my little one eventually gains an interest in a PokĆ©mon a little easier to handle, there is still plenty of time after all, if he does decide he eventually wants to go down that path, Iād like to support him.
With love, a mother from Unova.
i think a plushie is a great idea! back when i was a kid, there was a period of time when i got really fixated on the idea of having a slugma. obviously not going to happen, but my dad managed to find out and sent me a plush slugma that i carried basically everywhere. i have no plans to ever get a slugma now, but i still have the plush!
axew are really interesting little pokemon. it's super important to let them engage in play, though it often freaks first time axew trainers out because their tusks often break during playtime. however, they actually need to break their tusks multiple times before evolving! their tusks grow back stronger after each break. once they evolve, the lose the ability to grow their tusks back, so strengthening them pre-evolution is necessary to prevent them from becoming brittle and snapping off once they've evolved. the axew line is actually one of the better lines to start with in terms of temperament. although they're territorial towards unknown individuals of their evolutionary line, they're actually pretty laid-back and gentle with people and other pokemon. unnecessary fighting risks their prized tusks, so they're not aggressive outside of territorial conflicts. that doesn't mean they're easy to care for, by any means, but they're more forgiving than a hydreigon or garchomp.
as for my certification, it was a multi-year process. there are different ways to get certified as a type expert, but i'm certified with the international rangers union as a civilian type expert (although i volunteer with the rangers, i'm still counted as a civilian for these purposes). i had to take both a written and practical exam, get a certain number of hours of work experience with dragon types, and write a research article about a dragon of my choosing. i also have to take another written test every ten years to prove that i'm staying up to date with research. it's a lot of work to get certified by any major institution as a type expert, but it's something anyone can do with enough experience and passion for it. it helps to get an early start in pokemon handling- trainers' schools, the rangers, and plenty of pokemon training organizations offer camps and classes for younger kids if he's interested!
thanks for encouraging him to engage with his interest in a safe way- he's going to appreciate that for the rest of his life regardless of whether or not he ends up working with dragons.
Does anyone have any tips on removing smeargle paint from surfaces?
I can tell that itās jumpluff molting season cause my allergies are going crazy rn š
