I just remembered this one time when I was talking to someone about wings of fire and they were currently reading the series and I finished it and they didn't care about spoilers and we were talking about Nightwings and their abilities and how they lied about them and they told me that moonwatcher was lying about having powers . . . In the book that they are the protagonist of so they can't really lie to the audience about what they can do and it just made me think about how some people take what book characters say as fact

you guys on tumblr aren't super parasocial about tadc right like ive seen people talking on yt shorts about how glitch is wrong for making merch with maid jax because of his trauma and i just think that its really wild to attach your self to an oc in that way especially when the only writer i know irl tortures their oc's
