Hi there i’m Pineapples Are Real. I go by she/her, I’m fairly sure i’m bi and demisexual. I’m a Canadian visual artist who is currently studying visual merchandising as I have a passion for product display. I’m also working on a children’s book about a unicorn trying to find her family. I love to bake/cook and love experimenting with different art techniques.

My most recent school window instalment "Jellyfish Masks" to bring up the environmental issue that disposal face masks bring. 

Take care of the environment by at least taking the steps to lower the impact that disposable face masks are creating. 

By removing the strings, throwing them out indoors and in closed bags, and lastly wear reusable masks when possible, we may be able to make a difference even if its a tiny one every bit helps :)

Logo designs I designed for part of a school group project where we had to design a brand, I designed the logo for it while another group partner chose the brand name.

my tattoo design I hope to get, I plan to get this maybe sometime next year. Just a concept design for the tattoo artist so they have an idea what I want. I’ve been working on this concept for about 5 years or so, It’s changed a lot from the original concept. Maybe later underneath the tattoo  I might get some words or lyrics in a simplistic font or handwritten font.

I'll admit that I've been feeling rather unmotivated for a while now, and have started therapy to help me with it (along with tons of other issues) but to try and get myself out of my rut, here's some things I've been working on. Some of them were supposed to be for pride month, but pride is all year round in my book. Hopefully I'll be able to post the finished versions by the end of this month.

Finally finished them! I’m not 100% fully satisfied, but sometimes to get back into the groove yah just gotta do it even if it doesn't fully meet your expectations :)

Here is one of my favourite projects from my last semester in my visual merchandising program. It's a table top display for imaginative children's books :)

A thing I’m currently doing for a family Covid Challenge, we are supposed to recreate an LP album cover, Im kinda taking recreating one of my favourite albums by Katie Melua and used inspiration from the songs in the album to incorporate into the design. Its not 100% done yet, I will post the finished version hopefully in a couple of days as its due on the 16th.

Just finished it for the most part, sadly I would of liked to work on it a bit more, but since I had to hand it in today it will have to do.

Ive been trying to practise more with digital art. honestly its one of my biggest struggles, as I’m not a very techie type of person. So here’s a scenery piece based on my childhood belief that unicorns came from eggs

Most of them were done with watercolours and markers. The random watercolour looking effect was created by my water colour leaking through the paper from another art piece. The only one that wasn't made with just watercolour was the Rainbow Phoenix it was made acrylic along with ink.
