Welcome, fellow pink people, to Singapore's youngest, independent 'press' for matters, issues and events within the local LGBT community.
We aim to bring you the latest news, lifestyle features, LGBT-related events, nightlife, personal columns (and when we say personal, we do mean...ahem, "personal"), and other issues that might be bugging us sensitive beings.
We aim to give an unprejudiced, neutral, and fair report of the LGBT community.
We are living in exciting times.
There's an abundance of LGBT events that occur each week, all organised by companies or interest groups, who are all out to bring us the most entertaining and engaging events they can.
The gay scene has never been this vibrant before and we wish to document and cater to every person's lifestyle needs, may it be nightlife, entertainment, or even issues of the heart.
So who is behind Pink Press? Well, we will reveal ourselves in time to come.
Rest assured, we do not represent any commercial entity or academic institution. We are also not a marketing research company.
We are an independent group of writers who, unfortunately, still hold day jobs. And because of this, we are not able to reveal our identities. The common thread we have is the love for writing, the desire for openness and the freedom to express ourselves.
We will try to be everywhere. But if we missed out on some event or topic, kindly inform us via [email protected].
We will strive to cover as many areas as we can but we also hope you understand (and empathise) that we are a small outfit juggling full-time jobs on top of this, so we welcome any sort of help, be it writing, tip-offs, leads, photos, or basically anything to kick-start this relatively ambitious project of ours. Do keep us in the loop at [email protected].
If you're interested in writing for this account, please approach the friendly Pink team at [email protected] or if you have a story you'd wish to contribute, do drop us an email too!
