“...I wonder how my new single is doing within the fanbase? I haven’t checked the stats in a while...I hope it’s doing we-”

Maizono was strolling down the halls, pondering the success of her new single, when she crashed into another person, falling down and dropping all her things in the process. The idol sat up and rubbed her head, glancing at her scattered things and the other person....oh goodness! Sayaka scrambled to gather her things and scoot over to the other person.

“Oh my gosh, I’m so sorry!! I didn’t mean to bump into you! I just wasn’t paying attention and...I’ll help you with your things!” The blue haired girl tried to pick up the other girl’s textbooks as fast as she could.

The blue haired girl blushed, surprised by the other’s sudden realization. She let out a quiet sigh, remembering that she couldn’t go anywhere without being recognized. “I guess I’ve been caught!” Sayaka let out a laugh. “Well, I actually live in this area, and I come to this flower shop quite often. Speaking of which, are you new here? I don’t believe I’ve seen you before.”

With a playful grin upon his face, Chopper walked toward the girl, hoping that she wasn't too busy to spend some time with him. He had been alone for some time, but for whatever reason, seeing her face alone made him feel as though his boredom could be easily relieved. "Hey!" He shouted out as he gently placed his hoof upon her knee, hoping to get her attention.

“Hey!”

The idol girl heard a little shout, and promptly turned around to respond. Instead of finding the owner to the voice, she found nothing. Sayaka felt something touch her knee and looked down to see a little reindeer with a hat. Bending down, she reached to scratch behind its ear.

“Oh, hello there! What are you doing in a school? Are you lost?”

Chopper merely smiled warmly at the young woman as she asked how many places he went to. “On my own, I’ve passed through about two or three towns. With my friends? Oh gosh. At least ten islands by now. We were separated though.” He said with a weak chuckle escaping him as he glanced aside.

Maizono was shocked at how far this little reindeer had gone all by himself. He was a lot stronger and enduring than he looked, that was for sure. “You were separated from your friends? Do you need help finding them?” Sayaka picked up her bag, ready to go at his word. “I have a ton of free time, so I can help you if you want.”

“i-I mean,,, If I just stayed backstage m-maybe? I’d love to see you sing live..” She sighed nervously. “I mean, if you’d l-let me and all..!”

“As for the photo shoot you’re always welcome with me!” She nodded, hugging her bag happily. “We can have fun! I usually go out to get snacks when I’m done!”

“Well, if you do decide to come one day, I’d love to have you!” The idol beamed at the other. “I’ve never had a friend come to one of my shows, so it’d certainly be fun!”

“I’ve never been to a photo shoot either, so it would be nice to experience one with you. Thank you for inviting me!” Maizono was excited, especially since she was making a new friend. People generally seemed to avoid her, maybe because she was an idol, and after a while it got lonely. She was glad that Aika had approached her.

Maizono had been hoping to buy a new bouquet of flowers too decorate her room, since her old ones were starting to die. She pushed open the door to the flower shop (adorned with a bell - how cute!) and gasped at the bouquets. It was easy to tell that they had been placed by gentle and caring hands. As she stood there admiring the flowers, she was greeted by the rather short employee.

“Kaleidoscope roses, huh? Would you mind showing me those?”

Chopper shook his head a few times, making it very clear that her suspicion was off. He wasn’t lost. Well, he was lost, but since he had no destination in mind, it hasn’t really bothered him yet despite being lost for several months.

“I’m just wandering aimlessly. I have no destination in mind. The reason for that is so I can see the world.”

“You want to see the world? That’s quite an ambitious dream, and it’ll take a long time. It’s nice to see that you’re making it happen, though.” Maizono thought of when she had to travel for concerts and fan meetings, and all the countries she had been to. “How many places have you gone so far?”

“w-Well yes but.. i-I get stage fright really easy! p-Photos are different but standing on s-stage with a bunch of people staring is really crazy for me..!” She didn’t think she’d fit in, after all Maizono’s fanbase was so big! It put hers to shame really… 

“m-Maybe you could come to a photo-shoot of mine..?”

“Since you have stage fright, you could stay in my dressing room and meet fans with me! Or if you really don’t do concerts, fan meetings are always easier to do.” The blue haired girl paused, thinking that she might be pushing Mika too far.

“...Sorry. I get really excited when I talk about being an idol and getting my friends involved. But I’d love to come to one of your photo shoots sometime!”

“E-Eh?” Chopper blush lightly as the girl started scratching behind his ear as though he were some sort of beloved pet of her’s. This certainly wasn’t… normal for him to experience. Instead of choosing to question it though, Chopper lowered his head in order to bow politely to her.

“I’m just wandering aimlessly. I’m sorry if I came at a bad time. I was just lonely.”

“Don’t worry! You didn’t come at a bad time.” Sayaka was confused. Was this a toy or some kind of robot, and if it was where was its battery pack or switch? Regardless of what it was, she tried not to convey her confusion and make conversation.

“Anyway, what’s a little deer like you wandering around? Did you get lost or...?”
