We worked SO hard to get away from “woman have baby that is what makes woman a woman” argument. Idfk why so many folks are absolutely hellbent on doing that but it’s exhausting and frustrating.

When we say we are invisible, it's not that we are invisible to the people who hate us. It's that our struggles are invisible to the people who should be advocating for us.

I don't think that's what 'mainly targeting' means. That's their primary concern insofar for transmasc people specifically, but it's a hell of a stretch to say that transmasc people are the 'main target.' Like are just going to ignore that this campaign and EO was focused on 'men in women's sports/bathrooms?' The attacks on specifically drag queens to institute regressive dress code laws? Hell, the transphobic Trump ads up to the election showed only trans feminine people, there wasn't even a mention of female mutilation in them.

I will not argue that Trans men are targeted and affected by this transphobic push but 'main focus?' Can we be a little serious?

i think its disingenuous to act like the rhetoric is targeting trans men or women more. they treat us both in different and, imo, equally dehumanizing ways.

trans women get painted as dangerous predators, infiltrating womens spaces and spreading our dangerous idealogy to children. we are the shorthand for predatory gender havers.

trans men get painted as poor, misled kids being duped into destroying their bodies. theyre the shorthand for the supposed lives that gender ideology is destroying.

both of these are different ways to misgender us. both of these are different ways to discredit and dehumanize us. its a way to enforce the gender roles that we are trying so hard to shuck off. both of these rhetorical tactics are important to the messaging around trans people right now. i think acting like either trans women or trans men are the "main targets" is counter-productive at best.

they want to take all of our healthcare. they want to deny all of us our right to exist. there is no mercy for trans men or trans women to be found in their movement, only cruelty and dehumanization. any appearance of mercy or care is a veneer designed to strip us of our autonomy and humanity.

ill be honest, i dont think being forced to detransition at gunpoint so that you can be used as breeding stock is all that much better than just being shot. if i had the option, id probably pick the bullet.

The grass is not always greener on the other side, especially not when we're talking about marginalized communities. Just because you personally haven't experienced living as a certain marginalized identity doesn't mean people who do have it easier. I wish people who say shit would learn some really basic critical thinking skills rather than going "me me me all about me I'm the most oppressed everyone else has a cake walk and is pretending to be oppressed to mock me specifically!!!!"

Like Jesus Christ grow the fuck up and learn that other marginalized people have lives outside of your perception, and it is imperative you believe them when they tell you about it. If you don't you're no better than cishets who say transphobia isn't real because DEI pronouns on emails or white people that say that American racism ended when slavery was abolished.

This is not a difficult thing to understand.
