Thank you for your beautiful ace affirmations post. ; w; I've barely dated since realizing I'm ace due in large part to my internalized aphobia.

I'm really glad you enjoyed the post darling! If you want to see similar posts and read up on others' experiences of asexuality, i recommend theasexual.com and AVEN.

I also still struggle with internalized acephobia from time to time, but it definitely helps to be around others who share your identity so that you can learn to really grow into yourself and accept yourself regardless of your sexuality. It's totally okay to not date while you're still coming to terms with your ace identity. Taking the time to learn and practice self-love while you're single will help you to establish a more fulfilling romantic relationship once you're ready to start dating.

something that bothers me is when cis lgb people see transphobia from cishets and say “smh straight people are so wild” like…. y’all know it’s not the het part of them that’s being transphobic? it’s the cis side? the cis side that you share with them?

cis members of the lgbt community, please remember you can be and often are just as transphobic as cishets, and you’re not immune to being transphobic. be better.
