when you see really weird fashion at fashion shows and what not you have to understand the it is an art like any other. It doesn't always have to make sense or be, well, wearable in public. The paintings in museums are not always the ones you would hang in your house for decoration. Likewise, the outrageous clothing you see on the catwalk might not be what you would wear out and about.
