This is how the Nice Butthead ep went, right?
Nothin fancy, but I needed a proper Pinkie print.
Also I'll be at Everfree Northwest as per usual ;D
A collection of model sheets and rotation sheets / charts, their mouth / expression charts, and the key frames for their head banging!
The first four are from a web-blog called warburtonlabs, posted originally in 2012.
The next two were screenshotted from the "Taint of Greatness" documentary.
The final picture is from Kevin Brownie, and they were supposedly used for merchandising.
old bbm redraw :-)
two stinkers
I'm really glad that more people are talking about this - the character of Butthead really needs development, and it would be great if the writers stopped demonizing him. The contrast between the main characters has become too noticeable. Butthead wasn't a good person in the original series, but he's just a kid. He's a dumb kid with problems with empathy and understanding the consequences of his actions, not a major villain with dangerous ideas and plans. Teenagers and children who do bad things rarely do anything without a "support team," and Beavis was always his teammate, even though he was more passive and naive, but he was just as bad as Butthead, and they did bad things together. But now Beavis is clearly portrayed as the positive and even the main character, while Butthead is portrayed as the negative and secondary character. Beavis even had a few solo episodes, but Butthead didn't have any (well, we can kind of mention "Take a bow" and "Good Butthead"). And after the episode "Take a bow", there's a strange aftertaste, because in the reboot, it's hard to see Butthead as anything other than a villain, and it's sad. They were always friends who didn't quite realize that they needed each other, but now it's like they're in an abusive relationship where Butthead is the aggressor and Beavis is the victim. And it's sad and unpleasant to see them from this perspective, because they're just two dumbasses and it doesn't fit with their original intention. Butthead's desire for attention and being the leader has always been a characteristic of his, and it suits him perfectly because, unlike Beavis, he seems to have been completely deprived of love and attention from his mother (they only mentioned her a few times, indicating that she doesn't play any role in his life). However, he had never been a devil in flesh until this moment. I hope the next season will show him in a less negative light.
