[Popuri’s outfit for the Hunt’s holiday party] x x

Little Bird || Popuri & Vaughn

Popuri was out on a walk in the park when she noticed a little bird...a baby bird... on the ground! That’s no place for a baby bird! She looked around but the trees nearby didn’t seem to have any nest in them! Where had the baby bird come from? What was it going to do? She had to save it!

But she didn’t know how to care for baby birds! She needed help! She didn’t know of any veterinarian offices on Arcadia, and though she could take the poor creature to Violet, she was a people doctor! Not an animal doctor!

The next best thing was to take it to her friend at Barley’s Animal Shop. Jack knew more about animals than she did, maybe he knew how to take care of baby birds!!

So, Popuri scooped up the baby bird in her hands (gently!!) and ran her way to Barley’s Animal Shop. Immediately upon arrival, she shoved open the door with her foot, as her hands were full of baby bird.

“Jack! We have an emergency!” She shouted. But as soon as she was inside and able to look around she noticed Jack wasn’t there. There was a man there that she didn’t know, though. And surely anyone who worked at an animal store knew how to care for a baby bird.

Popuri ran up to him with he baby bird in her hands, “Sir, we have an emergency!”

None of the bouquets were very intricate but they were all very cute and she was very proud of them all! She hoped her wares would bring in a lot of sales! She proudly sat behind her booth and waited for customers.

“Hello! I hope you’ve got a sweet tooth, hehe~” Holly stood behind the table of her booth, her baked goods sitting on the table and set up artfully in the hopes that it would attract customers. After having worked so hard through the night to get everything ready, she really hoped that others would enjoy the desserts she put out.

What better time to collect some knitted accessories than autumn?

“Hello,” she greeted timidly. “Um. … Let me know if you like anything…”

“Candy!!! Everything is so pretty!” Popuri said delightedly while looking at everything at the booth.

“I’d like to get the pink knitted cardigan, a blue droop hat, and a pair of knitted sock, please!”

She immediately put on the cardigan, which luckily since it was made to be oversized still fit her, and the hat. “Now I’m extra cosy!”

“Aaaand... for you!” Popuri said handing Candace a bag that had the yarn that she’d just purchased from Neil. Pink and blue just like their hair! “And of course, payment!” Popuri said handing Candace the money.

She was excited to finally have some of Candace’s work to wear!

With the festival being on Arcadia, Neil thought it would be the perfect opportunity to get some business selling products from the ranch, even if they weren’t living back there yet. The business was still running. That was all that mattered.

Yum yum yum! Layers of crushed oreos and chocolate pudding. Mini gummy worms on top. She took special care to make each cup look as perfect as possible. They will probably be the most delicious treat you’ll have all month!

Popuri decided that since it was october, she wanted her barn dance dress to be halloweeny! A necessary part of a dress, for Popuri, was that it poofs out when you twirl. And she had the perfect thing! A dress she’d worn before, and always loved. It never went out of style! She decided to pair the dress with a cute cat ears headband.

PI Capitalism Sux || Closed

Popuri had a lot to learn. She’d kind of thrown herself off the deep end moving out of not only her home, but her hometown completely. Of course all of this came at Rick’s dismay. He argued with her and yelled at her that she couldn’t do it! And honestly, his meanness fueled her to want to leave and prove to him that she could!! But, it was a lot harder than she thought it would be.

The place she was living now was a dump. It was dirty and things broke a lot and there were so many creepy crawlies... She hated it. But she didn’t have money to afford anything better. She wanted to save up, but saving money was hard! How do people do it? It seems as soon as she got paid she had to spend it all on living expenses almost immediately!

Popuri sighed.

At least she liked her job. And she had a lot of new friends. So there were good things! And these things kept her from giving up and moving home! She was going to make it and be a successful young woman! Even if it takes some time...she can do it!

Gorgeous Flowers || Popuri & Iris

Fantastic Flowers was pretty quiet at the time. Popuri spent most her down time admiring all of the different flowers around the store and trying to learn more about them. The more she knew about flowers the more she could grow by herself!

Popuri was walking down an aisle looking at the flowers when she noticed a customer in the same aisle as her.

“Oh! Hello!” Popuri said cheerfully to the gorgeous woman, “Is there anything I can help you with?”
