Hi! This is random but idk if you've seen the breakfast club(I also watched Pretty in Pink and it's one of my FAVORITE movies!) but what if Claire met like a different version of Blane/Blaine there? Like they universally meet and fall in love with each other in different universes?

I LOVED THIS QUESTION, and yes, I love The Breakfast Club too! I think Claire would fall for a Blane who was like Kevin from St. Elmo's Fire (played by Andrew McCarthy), a poor Blane who’d share cigarettes with her! Because they fall in love in every universe, it would be cool to imagine a universe where Andie is the rich one and Blane is poor, their relationship works precisely because they are from opposite worlds that find their way to each other 💘🤧

The ending where Andie winds up with Duckie is justified by the idea that the rich and the poor shouldn't mix that everyone is better off sticking to their own kind! The reshot ending (which, believe it or not, is the official one) where Andie ends up with Blane is justified by the idea that true love conquers all social barriers! It’s not hard to understand.
