Faie breaths heavily and nervously starts reading Lexie’s message.
I don’t know where to begin. I kept starting over not knowing how to write this the perfect way until I realized that there’s no perfect way to write a letter to someone when it comes from the heart, it just have to come out on it’s on so I hope this is okay.
First, I would like to express my gratitude. You are so brave and selfless. You sacrificed yourself when you didn’t have to at all. It was your right to live but you gave it all away for me. Thank you so much for that.
Second, please don’t think your sacrifice was in vain, it was not, I promise. You have made me learn something very important. I was so caught up on what happened to me in the past that I didn’t cherish myself. You made me realized that without accepting and loving every part of me, I wouldn’t be who I am today. Having a child, and someone you love can be greatest gift but the greatest gift was you all along, and I didn’t even know about you. You were the innocent part of me but also the colorful and always happy part of me. Without that part of me, I am incomplete. I am sure I don’t make any sense right now Faie but you will learn. Love yourself, cherish yourself. The good and the bad because it’s what makes who you are, and you are your greatest gift. You couldn’t have a child or someone you love without being who you are after all. Please, learn to cry, learn to be happy, learn to be so angry that you want to scream but never lose yourself.
Lastly, I know it will take awhile but if someone can forgive him one day, it is you. Please, learn to forgive Jared. He is blind by grief and sorrow but I still believe that one day, he will be himself again. It might take years but, I believe in him, and I know you do as well. Let him cope with his loss his own way, and when he is back, I am sure he will seek forgiveness for what he has done to both of us.
Now before I start erasing, and rewriting this all over again. Just know that I am always with you Faie even if you can’t see me. I will always be there inside you.
Again, thank you so much for everything Faie, and please do not cry, smile and be happy. Take care of Xavier and Youkie and if you do fall in love, don’t keep it inside, go for it.
