Lately, I've spent most of the hot days in #cologne in our living-room. My summer-project is this #80ies #studiomaster - console. Originally a 16-4-2, it's been upgraded to 24 channels by a previous owner. @danielscherf21 had it lying in his rehearal-room for some time and was kind enough to trade it for two #pioneersfx - overdrives for bis band @scherfundband . The console hasn't been used for years and thus needs some attention. Some of the pots aren't moving at all and I'm cleaning all the faders and pots, which is a lot of work. Besides that, I'm modding every channel to give out a post-fader and pre-fader signal to use the console as an actual mixing desk in #cubase in the future. Also, I've put sockets in for all the opamps in the summing-sections to potentially change them later. The mostly used TL071, TL072 and NE5543, which should be ok. We'll see. The PSU was completely redone with new capacitors and improved power-filtering.
