Goodnight Moon || Ziper
"I just take a while to get comfortable, and make sure that everything is in order." a tired smile played across his lips, gazing over Piper, eyes flickering across the girls face. Pressing his lips into hers, giving the lightest bit of pressing into their very brief kiss. Her lips always spared something in him, no matter what — any time that the two of them kiss,ed it sparked something that felt like electricity throughout his entire body. He craved that, he missed that feeling as much as he missed being with piper. "It really would be easier, that’s for sure. I would love to have a room with you." The raven haired man brought his hand up, carding his fingers gently through her hair, slowly, pushing back pieces of her dark hair, his golden orbs, started to flutter closed from the exhausting that had sun him into the mattress they were laying on. "I think a petition would go viral, and make it happen, honestly."
“You’re just high maintenance.” Her tone soft and tired, laced with a lazy giggle as she let her head fall gently against his chest, only meaning to tease him playfully. And as she laid in his arms, Piper fought against the urge to fall asleep, stubbornly wanting to hold on to this moment. Dawn’s light seeped through the thin curtains, dimly lighting the dark room, allowing the woman to make out her love’s hazel hues. “Good—I would love that, too. Between you and I, I kind of like how messy we can get it.” The smile that always belonged to him was back on her lips and as she thought quietly to herself, she tilted her head to the side, resting it into the palm of Zayn’s hand. Even after all this time, she could feel the butterflies in her stomach, never tiring of that feeling. And in this moment, finally together again, she realized what should’ve been obvious. This man is the love of my life… Piper’s cheeks tinted a few shades brighter as she let that settle, thinking of all the things she loved about him. Still, his every word was caught by the raven-haired woman and she nodded in return, giggling. “I’m totally down for a petition. I mean-- the struggle of forgetting our phone chargers in one room while at five percent in the other either lazy, sleepy, high or— being cute.” Piper chuckled, sinking to the side of Zayn, her finger playing with the ones he previously tangled in her hair. Her eyes gazing into his before whispering, “I love you.”
