caspianquinn:
“why, of course. what else would i be used for?” he pulled his phone out of his pocket, as if to prove the point. “certainly not for my great friendship or variety of baked goods i make for you.”
“oh, s-s-stop that!” the girl playfully shoved him as she giggled. “you know I a-a-a-appreciate you for much m-more than your p-p-phone.”
samlangham:
“you are absolutely unbelievable.” yet still, sam managed to laugh. “go ahead. lead the way, no way i’m going in first.”
“I w-w-will be your g-g-guide, you scaredy c-c-cat.” pippa took her friends hand, tightly squeezing her hand. as the cloth being used as the door fell back behind them, the brunette led her friend into the darkened corridors.
caspianquinn:
“well of course. ferris wheels are serious business.” she smiled, feeling his heart skip a painful beat. “good, the view from the top is amazing, i’m betting.”
“oh, a-a-are they? I t-t-thought they were purely en-ntertainment.” she said with a simple little shrug as they continued to walk. “h-h-have your phone? to t-t-t-take pictures?”
caspianquinn:
“good, because i don’t know if we could be friends if you didn’t.” he joked, tugging on her wrist like a small child, leading her over to the line. “you’re not afraid of heights, right?”
“that’s t-t-the thing that’s going t-t-to sever o-our friends-ship?” she asked with a little laugh, allowing herself to be pulled along. “not a-at all!”
caspianquinn:
“carnivals are my favorite thing in the world.” his voice was full of excitement, like a three year old kid. “i mean, with all the games and the food… and there’s a ferris wheel?!” a grin broke out across his face. “we’re doing that next.”
Pippa looked over at the boy, her smile bright and her laugh light. “It is pret-tty wonderful.” she admitted, her fingers tucking a few stray hairs behind her ears. “a-a-alright! I l-l-love ferris wheels!”
samlangham:
“this is so not fair.” sam protested. “with your puppy dog eyes, you know i can’t say no.” she groaned, running her fingers through her hair. “fine, but only because it’s you.”
when she finally gave in, pippa let out a little squee. “I-I know, t-t-that’s why I u-u-use them.” she admitted with a little smile. “I p-p-promise you’ll l-l-like it. You’ll be l-l-laughing more t-t-than anythin-ng.”
samlangham:
“there is absolutely no way you are getting me to go in there.” sam pulled back on the other person’s arm, stopping them from approaching the rather cheesy ‘haunted’ fun house. “it is made of nightmares.”
“S-S-S-Sammie!” the other girl pleaded, holding onto the others arm tightly, continually to try to pull her along. “It’s all c-c-c-crappy fake stuff. No sc-cares.” her big doe eyes made bigger as she pouted.

“you have destroyed everything I was.”
tcoopie:
“Hey, hi, you know — okay, hear me out. Listen. I’m a cool guy, I am! I really am. But, see, here’s the story, I just can’t get it off my mind — my dad calls me, tells me that I better get my act together — how sudden is that? How fucking sudden, am I right! Anyway. I snag my ass a job, as instructed, and everything’s going great! I exceed expectations, seriously, I do. Sure, I show up late a couple times, but that’s all in the dedication. It’s not like I don’t show up, y'know? Still, the bossman goes ahead and fires me after a WEEK! Which is bullshit. Total BS, because I’m no jabroni. They won’t get charming service such a moi for a while, no, they won’t, not being uptight like that. Shame. Death to their business,” he breathes, scribbling nonsense upon nonsense between the blue bars of his ratty notebook. “I’m Toby. Pronounced T-O-E-B-E-E. Toby Coop. C-O-O-P. Who’re you? Sorry, I think I missed what you were asking me. How can I help? What do you need?”
The amount of words coming at her was somewhat unnerving but she tried her best to keep up with each one. When the boy finally introduced himself, the girl let out a small sigh of relief. This was something she could handle. “Nice to m-m-m-meet you, Toby. I’m Pippa.” her voice light and polite. “I was just w-wondering if you’ve seen a flash d-d-drive around. I think I dr-ropped it back h-h-here like an h-h-h-hour ago.”
daxquasula:
dax could sense her reluctance, and not wanting to push or pry he backed off of the topic. “okay, yeah, i get that. i don’t like for people to see me rehearsing before i’ve gotten the hang of the character.” he comforted, noticing how red her cheeks were and laughing slightly, shaking his head but not saying anything because he didn’t want to embarrass her. a thought popped into his head. “hey, do you wanna go get some coffee or something?”
“yeah, i-i-it’s just that time o-o-of the writing process where you h-h-hate your piece with ever f-f-fiber of your being. i’m g-g-guessing it’s the similar with acting?” she responded with a laugh as she continued to mark up her script. when the offer to go to coffee came up, pippa looked over at the boy through her large glasses. she was not the type of person to go out casually, but dax was nice. it would be okay. “uhm, y-y-yeah! sure!”
